This little Gem is a fantastic place with such welcoming hosts. The hotel is spotless and clean and the rooms are great for a lovely break away. The hosts are lovely and honestly couldn’t do enough for us. We arrived much earlier than expected and they very kindly allowed us to check in and even carried out very heavy suitcase from the car (once again sorry for this 🙂). The breakfast is the best we have ever had in any of our hotel stays and there is so much choice on offer. There is car parking outside front and back of property, and the location of the property is fantastic with the beach about 10 mins walk and the harbour about 15 to 20 mins walk Overall value this is an excellent hotel with fantastic value for money. Thank you for our wonderful stay and I wish the hosts all the best for the future, and if we are back in Torquay in the future we will be back

We arrived at 9 am , parked car on road for free. Alistair was at the door .and said we can check in early . Amazing. He then gave us all information we needed for us to plan the day .Great breakfast. and loads of it . Good size bedroom and big bathroom All very clean

Second time at Haven House and just as good as the first. Alister and Mel are excellent hosts very friendly and always happy to give advice on where to visit. Phoned them when i wasn’t sure if they were open and i think they opened for us as we were the only people there (4 of us) but nothing was too much trouble. Big thanks to you for a lovely break. Had a 5 night stay at Haven House Torquay and after a long 5 hour drive I was warmly welcomed by Mel and shown to my room. The room was clean and well furnished, and I had everything I needed for my stay. Parking was free on the street. The B&B is in a quiet location and only a 10 minute walk to the promenade. With just 6 rooms it is a small B&B, with rooms downstairs and upstairs, just one flight of stairs. There is an excellent variety of breakfast options each morning with Mel front of house and Alistair cooking. The fried breakfast was utterly delicious every morning with quality produce and cooked to perfection. Plenty of tea, coffee, toast, juice and fruit to choose from as well. My room was refreshed every day and a really nice touch was the two Celebrations every time I returned to my room. It was a wonderful stay with the perfect hosts and a lovely B&B. Highly recommend Haven House.

Fantastic time. Lovely clean big room. Breakfast great. I throughly enjoyed the bath,as this is quite rare in a BB. Alistair and Mel were great hosts. I requested 4 extra pillows for my husband and they were in the room when we got there. Would definitely go back again.

The hosts Mel & Alistair are amazing hosts. They have the right mix of being friendly helpful, caring & professional. They show an interest in what ever you are doing. They certainly make you feel at home. The house & rooms are spotless & clean. The beds are comfortable. The rooms have everything you need. They even supply a few chocolates & biscuits with the teas, coffees & bottles of water. The rooms have everything one should need, great shower soap &shower soap. The location is central & surrounded by restaurants & near the seafront all within a short easy walk. There is also free parking in the street.
