Not happy with their services

Instructions for check in were inaccurate to some degree and qr code didn’t work in parking garage(no cell service). Beyond the rigamarole, clean comfy place. Check out was less of a hassle (simply leave keys on kitchen table) but then parking level was not accessible from elevator. It’s a long way to walk to car when you’re hauling a bunch of stuff by yourself.

This was by far the WORST rental experience I’ve ever had. There’s absolutely NO communication, no concierge, no person to talk to, just cold, useless texts. They give zero instructions. You’re left to dig through hundreds of lockboxes just to find your keys. Once I got in, the place was filthy. The toilet was clogged, and when I contacted them, they told me I had to fix it myself! The bedsheets, blankets, and pillows were covered in stains and again, they told me I had to change them myself because the clean ones were sitting in the dryer. That’s disgusting. No one had even inspected the place before handing it over. I couldn’t even stay a full hour i left immediately and booked a hotel. This place is a joke and should be removed from *******. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

The condo was as advertised. It was clean and all the amenities were provided in the condo. I did not have time to explore the pool or gym. North York is an excellent neighborhood/location. There were numerous good food choices - - especially Asian ones, and the subway stop was below the building. Someone from Globalstay is not at the property when you arrive. But the instructions to retrieve the key and fobs were reasonably clear [with photos], and I was able to check-in after hours without issue. There was a homeless man sleeping in the garage between the doors so be careful. I was initially a little leery when communications were via WhatsApp, and I needed to place a $200 CAD deposit via PayPal after paying through *******. However, everything worked out, and Globalstay refunded my deposit in 7 days after assessing there was no damage to the condo. I have relatives in the area and would return. I have also recommended Globalstay to other family members as a great option.
