Late night arrival from airport… would take direct reservations over phone was trying to get baggage etc & had to book on my own (while multi tasking!!)
Booked (accidentally through *******) but normally would prefer to book direct.
Waited for shuttle from airport to hotel, only to find out I had to call to request. Another 30 minute wait!!
When he showed up, driver told me to lift my bag from curb… after parking considerable distance from curb (minor, but with all other issues, worth mentioning)
Upon arrival front desk (3 of them) standing there. When mentioning to the girl (who I likely first spoke to on phone) the frustration of being told to book the room on line & no mention of requesting shuttle, didn’t seem to care.
Confirmed restaurant would be open until 1 am.
Upon arrival in room:
Reported tap in tub not dripping - running constantly! Found towel & soap in bottom of tub upon entry - maybe to cushion sound??? No one came to fix.
When I called to see if we could order something from restaurant at 11:35, was told they closed at 11 & last call was 11:30 - no accommodation or suggestion made!
Called front desk again, advised of restaurant closure, it was suggested to Uber something to eat…I advised there were no menus or pamphlets or info book for area suggestions. Man graciously came to door with a pizza menu. When asked if there were any canteen machines, he mentioned food market beside front desk. No microwave in room to cook oatmeal!!! NEVER AGAIN!
