多倫多老磨坊飯店(Old Mill Toronto Hotel)

I was initially apprehensive about staying in an "old" hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

This is a beautiful historic hotel in a retro style located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The room was very comfortable, with sitting room, electric fireplace, coffeemaker, fridge, but no daily cleaning, only on request. The downside is that the restaurant is only open from Thursday to Sunday, and there are no restaurants nearby. However there is a nice bar where you can get drinks and some light food. So overall it was a good experience, but the hotel hardly deserves full 4 stars because of the service limitations.

Lovely atmosphere, very quiet and pretty grounds. I would go back again just because it is a nice, romantic place, but with the awareness that the service is not reliable or very good. We made a room service order for just coffee in the morning - it seems they forgot about it and never fulfilled it, so after waiting for 30 minutes we called back to check. Then they very quickly brought an order, but it was incorrect and they took it back, although first spilling cream, which we didn't order, in our doorway. So we waited again, and they finally brought the coffee order - still with mistakes. Then, ultimately the coffee was distinctly not good at all. Later we had breakfast at the restaurant next door. Again, the service was very slow and there were mistakes in the order. Servers were not around, so it wasn't possible to get things like jam, ketchup, salt, more water, and again, the coffee was really not good. They also seemed to have a problem with wasps. So, it was a lovely place with nice rooms, but the service did make it feel a bit hectic and diminished the experience.

It was way too expensive for a simple room. The heating/ac system was not responsive. Room stayed same temp if I selected 60 or 78. Parking is across the street and is $22. You have to hump your bags across the street to get to the lobby.

A charming and historical property, that is lovingly cared for. The beds are clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly. The area offers a lot to do and explore, just outside of the busy downtown area. I will definitely stay here again.

I liked the olde world atmosphere I didn't like the amenities. At that price I didn't like only being able to have breakfast in my room. we had two rooms with two in each and four sitting on the bed for breakfast was not easy. Even for two people.no dinner in the hotel after 9pm or in restaurant next door. The worst was coming back on my second day to find both our rooms hadn't had a housekeeper. I was later told that to get a housekeeping service you have to pay extra. nobody told me this.Disgusting to come back to last nights dishes in the room and no clean towels. And yet on my first morning housekeeping came in at 7am and woke us up. Then at 8am I got woken twice with demands I go to the desk as the night staff hadn't taken a deposit for four people but for two rooms. I was so disappointed with what was a special family reunion

Extra charges daily for complimentary wifi and bottled water 12 daily under room amenities.35 dollars extra for room service meal delivered on China as opposed to styrofoam.Room nicely decorated but size was quite small
