Really good, nice staff, a bit far from the city but very quiet and good for sleep. It's also nice to jog/walk around the lake.

The rooms here are basic and the only heating is a wall mounted convection heater, so my room felt cold to start with. But, what more do you want from a place if the sole purpose it to have somewhere to sleep for the night? I slept like a log, so the bed can't have been too bad :) What really makes this place is the shower. I had a wet room and the shower was "to die for". Ample, instant, hot water and a very good pressure. Kettle, tea bags,instant coffee, sugar and small cartons of milk are provided.

Strange to return to the place where I learned to windsurf when I was at university xx years ago... Great for my purposes as a place to crash before work in the city next day. Had all I needed - ample parking, bed, loo, shower (very powerful) and kettle. Bonus of a 24hr reception so no need to worry if delayed in traffic. And all at very modest price. Beats a Travelodge hands down. When I'm next in Nottingham I'll be back.

An overnight when travelling from Newcastle to Dorset. A clean tidy room at a bargain price. Very warm and cosy. As a “Silver surfer” the WiFi was disappointing. A booster is needed so that you can do catch-up on an iPad . I would stay there again.

Room was small and basic as expected but clean and bed was comfortable. Only disappointed that there were no clothes hangers and that the purported deli counter was not available - the drinks fridge (manned by reception) closed at 8pm.

Reasonable price 24 hour security secure parking The person in the room next to me came in at 3.25am and stitched on his t.v which woke me up I knocked on his door and spoke to him but he was an ignoramus so although he turned it down a bit I could still hear it spoke to the receptionist straight away he went up but listened at the door and deemed the noise ok so didn't speak to the ignoramus I spoke to a different receptionist the following evening who apologised for the noise and that I was woken up but said there was not a written policy in place to cover this sort of thing but she would speak to the duty manager who would speak to the ignoramus.That night same time around 3.25 am the ignoramus came in and put his t.v on this time not so loud this time I did nothing and eventually got to sleep,dont know if he was ever spoken to by staff the walls separating the rooms are quite thin and the tv is positioned on the wall This was the 3rd time I have stayed at the venue and it was the first time there has been any problem perhaps there should be some signs in the corridors stating no noise between certain hours so normal people can sleep like normal people would like to

Check-in was poor, 2 members of staff who were not friendly at all, felt like I was an inconvenience. Room very small and walls wafer thin, could hear next door as if they were actually in your room with you. Dirty stained carpets in corridor. The whole experience was like being in a hostel.

We only stayed one night as we went to a wedding in the area. It was perfect just exactly what we needed.Clean beds, tea and coffee for the morning and an adequate bathroom. Friendly, helpful reception staff so happy!

Exactly right for a quick overnight journey break. Clean room, easy access and parking, friendly staff. I'd do it again. Surprised that there's no bar or food – but that's a 5min drive. Thanks for having me!
