Villa Nena

This is a bitter sweet review as although the venue is beautiful, the location and the owner is polite & so are staff, unfortunately what you see is not what you get. When i originally spoke to the owner about hiring none of the below was mentioned there were no rules it was made out exclusive access no restricted areas only the day before did i find out the rules. The Villa is not set up fit for purpose, areas like the lounge area is locked off, no access to a kitchen or fridge. No option to prepare meals or snacks. Not ideal with children. Leaving no option but to travel into the village to eat meals, no eating is aloud inside the Villa only in garden areas and only a small mini fridge is provided. No access to alcohol. There is no aircon only fans plugged into the wall in each room. If you are to stay here be prepared to hire a car and travel to the local restaurant to eat as it is in a remote location with NO taxis. It is not practical when you hire a villa for exclusive use, it simply becomes a place to stay and not to dine or relax. The Villa owner also visits daily also taking away the “exclusive feel” it does not feel like a hotel nor an exclusive Villa, very odd set up and strict rules imposed by the owner. It feels like you are a guest in someone elses home. No guests aloud to visit. Owner also showed other guests around whilst we hired the Villa, which is very rude and unprofessional. I fell in love with the Villa upon seeing it and its charming instagram profile, but my stay did not reflect that. Very disappointing.
