Holiday Inn 費勒姆 - 索倫特(Holiday Inn Fareham - Solent)

Nice staff , friendly and good hospitality. Kinda old fashioned hotel but with pleasant and quiet environment.

They tried to fogg me off with a room that I didnt book.

Good breakfast and nice location.

Really disappointed in this Holiday Inn. Pre requests weren’t actioned, fruit flies in room and generally the hotel was run down. None of the staff (other than a lady on reception who seemed embarrassed about the flies) seemed interested. Abandoned an evening meal as sat waiting for ages and no waiting staff came and very slow to sit for breakfast. They couldn’t cope with the amount of people. The place needs a good clean and some air freshener asap

The hotel itself is centrally located. My room was very comfortable and on one of the hottest weeks of the year the air con was very welcome. It does have a pool but I didn't find time to use it. My only concern with the hotel is the staff. (not the cleaning staff who were all very friendly and smiled when you passed them). I tried to call for room service one night but got no answer from the front desk so had to go to the bar and order the food for collection. I managed to leave my phone charger in the room. You would think this would be a simple call to the hotel to ask them to check. Having tried to call the front desk over 23 times with no answer I had to resort to calling the leisure complex and ask someone to walk over to the front desk to ask them to call me back. When Richard did eventually call me back he rather bluntly informed me he was too busy to check there and then if my cable was there and that he would call me back ! Having informed him that if he couldn't confirm he had the cable I would have to buy another he said he would call me back. He did call me back ... the next day which meant I had to buy a new cable from Amazon as my phone was by this time very low on battery. Having stayed with you for 4 nights paying over £400 I think he could have been more helpful. Looks like it is back to the Premier Inn down the road for me as front of desk staff are very friendly there.

Much better than expected - clean and comfortable - good breakfast and dietary requirements catered very well - late checkout also

A lovely stay with good facilities, lashing of hot water, a fridge in the room, great breakfast and attentive staff. My only complaint was the bed was very firm.

Lovely hotel rooms are a little tired but clean and equipped well for a short stay, breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and a lovely restaurant to eat in didn’t use the bar but as the restaurant it looked excellent, all in all an excellent stay close to the family we were visiting

So we stayed as a mum and daughter with my two boys, we had a family room with a double bed , 2 single sofa beds and a cot and there was still plenty of room. The only downside was that the mattress on one of th sofa beds was very uncomfortable and left my mum with a bad back . When we spoke to the receptionist about it the only response we got was oh sorry but they are meant for children. So clearly the expectation was for myself and my mum to share a bed , which we haven't done in a number of years. There could be a vast diverse number of people coming to stay that may not wish to stay in a bed together and the answer to the problem was not acceptable that it's for children only.
