Fabulous place. Lovely cabins right on beach.Mr Huzir and his team are so welcoming and friendly. Thanks for looking after us so we'll! Great breakfasts included free with room. Laundry service and bike hire. A rainforest hike tour with Pak Lan, booked through Coconut Grove, was a highlight of our trip along with snorkeling tours to amazing coral reefs. Thoroughly recommend!

Perfekt für einen wundervollen Urlaub. Die Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten das eine oder andere kleinere Problem, welches jedoch sofort und zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit gelöst wurde. Danke für die super Zeit. Hier kann man wunderbar tauchen, surfen, wandern oder mal nichts tun.

We recently stayed here for five nights. The garden is very beautiful and the food at the restaurant was good. In the photos it looks like the perfect picture. Unfortunately it wasn't. We spent the night in rooms 113 and 114. There you face the storage area, but we didn't think that was an issue. However, on the other side of the fence there is a generator running day and night. That sounds like a truck idling. And around 10:30 PM he makes even more noise. We could not enjoy the balcony because of the noise. Because we were traveling with small children, we couldn't leave the house at night, so we were forced to sit in our room on the bed. But even there you hear the generator all the time. You never hear any silence. So don't count on the peaceful tranquility that the photos radiate, at least not if you sleep in the same corner as us. A staff member said that it is the generator of the hotel next to us. They were working on something to muffle the sound. Unfortunately we didn't notice anything about that. We believe that Coconut Grove could have informed us in advance about the noise pollution. Because this gave us a headache and it ruined the location.

Coconut Grove is an amazing place to stay at. The location is perfect, the rooms are very comfortable and the food is very very good. Juara beach is clearly one of the best place to stay in Tioman, and Coconut Grove is the most authentic place you can spend your holidays. The team is also incredibly useful, and can organise activities for you. For example, they organised our taxi back and packed us a free lunch for our travels back to mainland Malaysia. We would recommend staying there 100%, best exprience possible!

Good value , great food, helpful staff. Highly recommended for a chilled stay. We did the snorkelling trip which was brilliant and saw baby turtles at the conservation centre next door. The rooms have front porches with hammocks the beds were comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans ce paradis. Notre bungalow était très mignon: en bois, petite terrasse donnant sur un joli jardin fleuri, lit confortable, salle de bain simple mais pratique, douche impeccable. Les petits déjeuners sont un peu succincts mais pour un petit établissement il est difficile de faire mieux. La plage est juste en face et elle est superbe. On nous a beaucoup parlé des mouches de sable mais nous n’en avons pas vu. Il serait souhaitable d’avoir un peu plus de chaises longues sur la plage, il n’y en a que trois et c’est peu. Le personnel est parfait : compétent et gentil, mention spéciale à la jeune femme néerlandaise qui assure sur tous les plans avec gentillesse. Les repas sont de bonne qualité. On nous a organisé des sorties snorkeling parfaites. Cet endroit est parfait à Tioman, je le conseille.

I enjoyed my 3 nights stay here. The only complaint i have is i and my son waited at Tekek jetty for our transport, which Jip in his email’s response that transport would be arranged but did not turn up. For this i did not want to give them 5 stars for this review. They should serious review such oversight and not repeat it again. Other then this , i am happy to stay here and will stay here again if I visit tioman again. The hotel is nested at the far end of the concrete pavement (also served as the only runway for vehicles) fill with beautiful greenery surrounding setting. Room is clean and well equipped but without TV (i dont TV is needed, the wifi signal is good and enough to keep you occupied if you want to connect to the digital world). We took all out meals here and I considered foods is above average and the price is reasonable. Staff is helpful and friendly. One thing the hotel can improve is to set up more beach facilities such as more beach bench. The current sets are too few and lack maintenance. I and my son brought ourselves with foldable field chair and we really enjoy sitting close to the sea enjoying the sun rise and in the evening looking at sea and the azure skies.

Wonderful place with amazing and kind staff here. The food here is also very amazing but do expect that there might be some flies. The only thing I am not happy about is after emailing the hotel to send me and my dad a taxi to the hotel but after reaching Tekek jetty the taxi did not turn up and me and my dad have to find ourselves a taxi to the hotel. Overall I’m still very happy staying here and wound definitely come back to stay again if I visit Tioman island.

Nous avons réservé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel séduits par les photos de cocotiers et la belle vue. Ce qui nous a plu : La plage est magnifique La jungle verdoyante aux alentours L’excursion à Coral Island qui nous a permis de nager avec des tortues Le personnel relativement agréable Ce qui nous a moins plu : Nous avons mal dormi, contrairement à certains commentaires je ne recommande pas du tout les chalets qui sont minuscules et vétustes L’hygiène des chambres La douche qui mouille les toilettes et le sol qui reste humide Seulement 7 transats (durs et sans matelas) pour tous les clients de l’hôtel - comme dans les hôtels clubs bon marché certains se lèvent tôt pour mettre les serviettes La nourriture qui est bof bof En résumé cet hôtel plaira à des voyageurs non regardants concernant leur confort.
