皇冠與維多利亞飯店(The Crown & Victoria Inn)

Very nice, cosy and lovely inn, feels like home. Highly recommend!

On our way back to Kent from Cornwall, I thought it would be nice to stop overnight and experience a Bed and Breakfast in the country side, and The Crown & Victoria Inn was the perfect place for our family with two children. A large, well maintained garden was the perfect place for the kids to run wild before bed time. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, the mattresses and pillows and bedlinen felt luxurious. We felt very comfortable and loved getting to know the owner and her family.

We chose the Crown & Victoria because it was close to a number of National Trust properties that we wanted to visit. Lovely warm welcome from Surinder and Arun who have worked really hard to create this super b&b. Clean and bright room. Basic but good breakfast. The real bonus was that we could order an evening meal if we wanted it. We stayed 3 nights and had an excellent meal on every one. Highly recommended.

Our stay here was part of a Country Living Magazine prize. Surinder gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to our Kohinoor room which was beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. Surinder also took time to tell us about the area and suggest a couple of places where we could get a meal that night and even found the phone number for us to book. Nothing was too much trouble. After a very comfortable sleep and a luxuriant shower, we went downstairs where a fabulous continental breakfast was ready for us with warm croissants, cereal, fresh fruit, toast and delicious coffee.
