丁斯瓦洛野生動物園(Tintswalo Safari)

It was a bucket list trip and Tintswalo Safari exceeded my expectations. It was the best family trip that we have ever experienced and they really made it beyond special for us. The staff, service and food were first class and I would highly recommend Tintswalo for any future safari trip.

I cannot recommend Tintswalo Safari Lodge enough. This is my wife and I's second time visiting and it did not disappoint! During our first trip a wild elephant came up to us on the deck during breakfast, and that was the moment I knew I had to share this experience with my family. This time around we took my parents and Tintswalo went OVER and beyond to make sure their first trip to Africa was special. Now my parents are hooked and are already planning on returning to Tintswalo Safari Lodge. Pro tip: Ask for Al and Reply! If they aren't available to host you, no worries, everyone of their guides are great!

Spent three nights at Lodge. The rooms are all separate villas that are large and extremely well appointed. The safaris were extraordinary. Exceptional guides, dedicated to making you see all that you can. Very knowledgeable. Dining was excellent and surprise venues for dining were a real treat. Entire staff friendly and helpful.

Where do we start! Our stay at Tintswalo was the most dreamy experience! We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The staff went above and beyond to give us the experience of a lifetime - very attentive and kind. Our room, pool, and patio had a wonderful view of the pathway the elephants took to get to the watering hole. We saw elephants passing by all day just meters away! The game drives are incredible, our guides Daniel and Pardon were the best and extremely knowledgeable, we felt truly immersed in the bush and amongst the animals, while still respecting them and their space. Daniel positioned us to allow a lot of the animals to come to us, and they did, rather than forcing the experience or making them uncomfortable. The respect Daniel and Pardon had for them was a huge standout for us, as not all guides at other lodges follow this rule. The food was incredible, as were the variety of settings we went to for brunch or dinner. Lonic always looked out for us and what we wanted, with a mimosa in hand for when we returned from morning drives. The turndown service was personal, with notes written by our housekeeper and towel animals on our bed! If you are looking for a dream safari experience, being surrounded by the kindest people and feeling like a part of the family at the end of your trip, this is the lodge for you.

Kurz vor Urlaubsantritt wurde unsere geplante Lodge überschwemmt und so wurden wir umgebucht und waren zu Viert vom 2.-7.1.23 in der Bains Presidential Suite in Tintswalo untergebracht. Schon beim Eintreffen im Haupthaus sahen wir vom Deck Elefanten die am Wasserloch aus einem Schlauch der im Baum hing tranken- was für eine witzige und einmalige Beobachtung denn normalerweise trinken sie ja von unten, nur hier lassen sie sich das Wasser von oben in den Rüssel laufen. Wakeup call um 5 Uhr, kurz eine Tasse Kaffee/Tee und dann geht es los zur 1. Pirschfahrt . Im Auto ist alles was man braucht Wasser, Decken, Regenponchos und ein Fernglas. Unser Guide Bill und Tracker Dimingo waren fantastisch und wir hatten eine Menge Spaß zusammen. Jede Frage wurde beantwortet und man versucht dass jeder während er da ist die 7 big five zu sehen bekommt. Wir haben uns besonders über die Geparden gefreut- am Ende gab es sogar für jeden ein Zertifikat dass man die big 7 gesehen hat. Morgens gibt es einen kurzen Stopp um einen Tee, Kaffee oder Cappuccino zu trinken, bei der 2. Pirschfahrt am Nachmittag wird dann ein Stopp zum sundowner gemacht mit Wein, Bier oder Gin Tonic. Das Essen in Tintswalo war absolut genial- beim Frühstück gab es Naturjoguhrt mit einer Crunch Mischung die einfach nur genial war. Dann konnte man Eierspeisen, Speck, Wurst, Bohnen usw.bestellen. Einen Morgen hatten wir ein Frühstück im Busch in einem ausgetrockneten Flussbett und auch da blieb kein Wunsch unerfüllt ( es gab sogar einen Joghurt shake mit Beeren). Zum Mittagessen gab es immer mehrere Auswahlmöglichkeiten und beim high tea durfte der leckere Kuchen nicht fehlen. Der Wahnsinn war das Abendessen- mal ein 5 Gänge Menü, dann wurde gegrillt und nach einem Gespräch mit dem Koch hat er sogar Oryx/Gemsbock für uns besorgt- das Fleisch war unglaublich. Die Baines Presidential Suite war gigantisch mit tollen Zimmern, Dusche/Badewanne und einem Riesen Deck mit Pool um geschützt im Schatten Zeit im Liegestuhl zu verbringen. Orlando war beim Essen für uns zuständig und hat all unsere Wünsche erfüllt, Eden war unser Zimmermädchen die im Hintergrund alles tip top sauber hilt und jeden Abend die Betten schön richtete. Im Baineshaus gibt es eine Küche und so kann man seine Essen alle im Haus einnehmen (der Koch kommt extra her) oder man kann auch wenn man will im Mainhaus essen Zum Abschied war es schön dass alle kamen um sich zu verabschieden. Wir werden noch lange an Tintwalo denken und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Manyeleti is a great game reserve, so wild with divers natural environments where live huge herds of buffalos, elephants and so many lions. The sighting is impressive. Our guide was so professional with his tracker. Only 6 people max in the 4x4. Our stay at Tintswalo lodge was one of our best stay in Greater Kruger.

Truly a unique and very well run lodge. I will not hesitate to return and bring my adult kids. This is a destination location like no other and kudos to a superb staff and ownership.

I wanted to share our amazing experience at Tintswalo Lodge. We had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The game guides were incredibly educated and experienced, ensuring we saw all the wildlife we came to see and more. The lodge itself is beautiful, and the cuisine was outstanding.
