Very nice location and dining next door at The Port was also excellent. Premises dated but very clean

Good experience Dated tired property but inexpensive and has amenities like pool and sauna. Back porch messy with leaves and dust. Front porch ok. Rooms inside ok. Fireplace nice. Good value for money paid.

Property is inold but location is excellent We like locations and visit place every year but property is old and we did not have cleaning for 4 days of our stay.

Your pool heater has been broken since our last stay in October 2024 - now March 2025 - you should make note that the pool is not swimmable at that temperature; also tried to sleep in Friday (room 204) but with all the construction grinding etc was impossible. Been coming to your resort 2-3 weeks a year for over 10yrs and really expect better.

Clean, if dated rooms. Very close to a very good restaurant, The Port Tavern. We enjoyed our dinner a lot. Three weird things that would give me pause if I were to consider returning -piles of garbage or recycling were next to our door, and our neighbour’s doors. It may be that pickup day is tomorrow or whatever, but I didn’t like the look of arriving to the last person’s garbage. -they shoveled snow at 3am! Ok it’s a snowy night, but that is bizarre and way too early to be out there scraping the sidewalk with a shovel. -the woman who checked us in was “friendly” but made extremely weird, pointed comments about the city my wife and I came from. Nobody cares that you don’t like Toronto… you sure seem to like our tourist dollars, and I bet they liked them at the local establishments we patronized on our visit. When somebody is taking the time and money to patronize your business, your town, and your region, it is unbelievably rude to just blatantly say you don’t like where they’re from. So yeah… my wife and I love Grey County and would come back, but next time we will pay a bit more for a bit more luxurious accoms and hopefully better service. It needs to be said that at Heart’s restaurant, Scandinave Spa, and the Port Tavern we were treated with incredibly friendly courtesy and hospitality. The type YOU would get from US if you came to Toronto.
