Reservamos nuestra estancia en el hotel a través de la agencia Vietnam Original Travel porque contratamos además dos días de trecking con guía por los arrozales de la zona. La experiencia no pudo ser mejor. El entorno y el paisaje ya son de por sí espectaculares, visitarlo en época de cosecha fue sin duda un acierto pero la exclusividad que este sitio te brinda para poder pasar unos días sin aglomeraciones y en paz con la naturaleza, el entorno y la gente que vive allí es algo que se agradece muchísimo. El personal es encantador y muy amable y las estancias son muy cómodas. La terraza con sus vistas espectacular y la piscina natural que tienen para después de la caminata viene genial. Personalmente destacaría de este sitio su respeto por el entorno.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. The cabin we stayed at was amazing! We had our own bathroom, shower and a beautiful view of the rice fields. I can highly recommend the 3 days and 2 nights trip. We arrived during lunchtime and were greeted with nothing but amazing and kind people. The children were adorable (they love it if you bring small gifts for them) and the staff were always helpful. The food we ate was very good and of typical vietnamese cuisine. The trekking was very light. We walked on nice paths the whole way around 14km (and ca. 400m upwards). We experienced beautiful rice fields and mountains in the Ha giang region. I recommend going in May because we were the only people on the lkdge at the time and it was at the start of the seeding prosess. This meant that we saw many locals doing their day to day work witch was very interesting. The rice fields are green at this point, but becomes golden later in the year. There are many insects in the cabins, especially at night, but you are provided with a net over the bed.

We stayed two nights at Hoang su phi lodge. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. They cooked delicious Vietnamese food for us. They also organised a 14 km hiking trip with an English-speaking guide in the beautiful rice and tea fields. This was a great and memorable stay.

We stayed two nights in a private bungalow at the Hoang Su Phi Lodge. The accommodation was quite basic but the location was superb and very convenient for hiking in the beautiful terrain around, all the rice fields and mountains. Breakfast was ok on the first morning when there was a large French group staying but disastrous the second day after they had checked out. - it really was a case of fending for yourselves!! Thanks to our guide he was able to conjure up a couple of eggs and a bit of fruit! It was very cold when we arrived but at least the hotel did give us a heater to try and warm our room.

Wow what an amazing place. Far from the hustle and bustle of other resorts. The staff were amazing polite helpful in every way and the food was top notch. The view from our bungalow was stunning. Overlooking the PADI fields up in the clouds looking down on the village below you will never get tired of it. Many hilly and challenging walks can be had here through bamboo plantations local farms and streams. If you get tired you can also ask to do the rest by motorbike an experience like no other. Bear in mind all the tracks are private so you cannot ride or walk by yourself. The lodge was comfortable, clean sheets but bed not made at all a small price to pay for such a beautiful place If you want 5 star views, friendly people a feeling of contentment this is the place. If you are looking for 5 star hotel with amenities TV, entertainment, a busy bar and crowds if people look elsewhere. This is paradise if you like peace.
