Wir haben die Lodge rein zufällig entdeckt; was für eine Oase mitten im Dschungel!! Die 2 Tage waren absolut genial: das Eco Projekt ist einmalig, Piroom and Gee mit ihrem staff sind die besten Gastgeber, die wir in Kambodscha erlebt haben. Wie Piroom, der Manager, sich für das Eco Projekt einsetzt, seine Kenntnisse in Flora und Fauna, sein Enthusiasmus für den den Erhalt des Dschungels, einfach nur grossartig! Das Essen entspricht einer *****Sterne Küche! Mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Der Bootsausflug mit Piroom in den Mangrovenwald ist absolut empfehlenswert, einmalig! Die Bungalows sind gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Rainbow Lodge werden wir wärmstens empfehlen!

We fell in love with this place within the first few hours of arriving. The hosts are so welcoming to their special family run lodges. The family room was spotlessly clean. They think of everything to ensure you are safe and secure in the middle of their pulsing jungle. The trips were the absolute highlight of our stay in Cambodia. The food was delicious and we even got a picnic when we left on our onward journey. We cannot recommend this place more. We enjoyed being off grid, exploring nature, clam fishing with our toes and relaxing in the hammock with a good book. There was more than this but we won’t reveal all of its delights! Our teenagers didn’t want to leave and nor did we!

Rainbow lodge is in the most beautiful peaceful jungle setting. Our bungalow was spacious, clean with a lovely terrace looking into the jungle. The food is included in the price and is exceptional- there is lots of choice for breakfast & lunch and an excellent 3 course meal in the evening. Other drinks and snacks are reasonably priced and washing can be arranged. The lodge is only accessible by boat and the river is great for swimming & kayaking (which the lodge provides free of charge). There are a number of activities you can book - we did the trek to Tatai waterfall which was great (very knowledgable, friendly guide and culminated in the most beautiful natural swimming spot and delicious lunch). The setting, food and activities were all fantastic but what really sets this lodge apart is the passion the management & staff have for sustainability and preserving the natural environment. It is notable that they have not cleared the land around the lodge (as others have done) and have a programme of planting trees and managing tourism as sustainably as possible. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful. I had lots of questions before arriving which were always answered promptly. The lodge arranged transport for us and made us and the other guests feel really welcome.

This place doesn't seem much on the outside. Actually, if you didn't know it was there, you would probably just pass by on the Preat River. As I come to think of it, I guess this is the very point of the place. Hidden from the outside, as treasures of nature often are, you need to make an effort if you want the Rainbow Lodge to reveal its secrets. I strongly recommend, that you do. If you make the effort, you and your family will get an experience of a lifetime.

What a great place and not to forget a great team (with new management last years). So much passion for nature and wild life. Keep up the good work !! Nice hiking trails, kayaking on rhe river and a very good massage service. Bungalows are simple but fully eco and fitting perfect in the environment. Very relaxing surrounding. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place along the river buried in jungle. The bungalows have a terrace directly in the forest yet they're super clean and well equipped. The staff is great, making you feel like family. They serve the best food I ever had in Cambodia. Don't miss the trek in the jungle with a stop at the lake where you can refresh. We saw spiders, snake, gibbons... In the mangrove tour, we ended up in a kayak, progressing among the giant roots.
