The Capitol Hotel Thimphu is clean and modern with great amenities. I requested a higher floor room away from the elevator but I got one that is on the 2nd floor and near the elevator. The front desk reception staff told me that the hotel is fully booked that's why iooamy request was not considered. It was about $120 discounted price from trip.com

Our stay here was truly pleasant and memorable. The rooms were exceptionally spacious, clean and well-equipped, making it a very comfortable experience. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the food — they were kind enough to prepare Indian dishes on request and they turned out to be delicious! Both breakfast and dinner offered a good variety and the overall atmosphere of the place was calm and welcoming. It genuinely felt like a home away from home and we would definitely choose this place again whenever we visit Thimphu next. Highly recommended! 🌿

Absolutely loved my stay at The Capital Hotel! The rooms were well-designed, spacious, and comfortable. I have no complaints about the service, and the location of the hotel is also great, as the main street and other attractions are only a short walk away. If you're visiting Thimphu, I would definitely check out this hotel.
