Good Hotel Pleasant stay

I came to this hotel with a friend. When approaching the hotel we noticed that some of the plants outside were dead. The receptionist was rude from the outset. We waited for 20 minutes to be served. At the bar it was more of the same. When I asked for a glass of champagne I was given Prosecco (she tried to hide the label). I questioned it and was told I needed to go to Specsavers. So rude! The whole place had a faint odour of rotten eggs. The owner has a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp i.e so unnecessarily rude. Oh, and the response to this review will be that I got the wrong hotel or it will accuse me of something! Just click 1 star and read the reviews. The owner attacks every 1 star review, by gaslighting. The hotel never accepts its failings. If you’re ever passing Thetford, make sure you do just that, pass it.
