Clean room, comfy bed.
Interesting old property.
Bar doesn't open in the week so quite and would have to go out for food, but plenty of choice nearby, walking distance.
Shower was nice and warm.
Facilities were good, tea and coffee, complimentary soap, supplied towels.

2 eme fois dans cette hôtel sans regret hôtel propre bien situé prix correct On est a 1 h de train depuis l’aéroport de Stansted à Thetford La station de trains est a 5min. à pied de l’hôtel Depuis Thetford 20min. de train pour Norwich On est toujours bien reçu comme de la famille par Guez et Rosy des gens super sympathiques On mange très bien des plats fait par Rosy un régal Les cocktails préparés par leur fille avec beaucoup d’amour Après souper on passe des superbes soirées au bar de l’hôtel Musique cocktails et des gens très chaleureux Je recommande et je reviendrai Dans cet hôtel on a fait beaucoup d’amitiés Merci Guez et Rosy

Me and my Friend had a great experience at Thomas Paine Hotel. We had the best afternoon tea and were looked after professionally and kindly. Staff was attentive and the chefs food was fresh and delicious 😋 Will be back soon. Thank you for a great afternoon x

Gez was great and when we speed him to make a custom meal that we had in Egypt he planned a specific Egyptian night to prepare the food. He is always willing to make custom meals and does a great job. I highly recommend this restaurant as it has great service!

A group of 28 visited The Thomas Paine Hotel as part of a history group wanting to learn more about Thomas Paine. The hotel opened especially for us, providing coffee and cake on arrival and lunch after we had been on a guided tour of the town and the museum housed in the hotel. We did not stay over night but the staff were most accommodating and friendly during the time we were there ensuring all our needs were met. The lounge and restaurant were very comfortable and the food was just as we ordered. It was easy to plan our visit and the leader of the guided tour was exceptional.

Yet again another wonderful experience. We attended Thomas Paine for a joint Birthday meal and the food was, as always, just so delicious. The portions generous and the hospitality warm and genuine. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again very soon, Jaz and Pat.

Fantastic hotel! Owner is a great guy. Clean hotel with big rooms. Great area which seems safe and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are friendly also and I’d definitely return. Nothing but great things to say!

Our afternoon tea experience was excellent. Jez and his lovely wife looked after us wonderfully well and the sandwiches and cakes were scrumptious. The Thomas Paine hotel is full of character and we felt comfortable and welcome as soon as we arrived. We can’t wait to visit again soon.
