I had a horrible experience staying at this hotel. On my first night, I went to the front desk for help with the air conditioner. The room was very hot at 26 degrees Celsius, and I could not seem to get the AC to work using the remote. The receptionist (ALEKOS) told me to use the remote control for the AC. After telling him I wasn't sure how it operated since the room remained hot after several minutes of fiddling with the AC, he became visibly angry (I guess he did not want to walk up the stairs to my room to show me). After following me to the room, he pulled the curtains to reveal there was a wall heater that was on and barked at me that I had turned on the heater. Why would I turn on a heater in April when I prefer a cold room? And the wall heater wasn't easily visible from behind the curtains. Also, I wasn't expecting that the hotel would have the heater turned on at this time of the year, so I did not look for one. This man was fuming for some reason, so I said nothing. Safety first! After turning on the AC, he left without a word.
I was left wondering why a mundane inquiry about a working AC elicited such rudeness. Weird!
