The Cambria House is an absolute treasure. A beautiful and very comfortable house, and Karol was a fantastic host - very attentive to all our needs; nothing was too much trouble. The location is very convenient for walking into the centre of Nelson in 10 minutes, and Nelson is a very convenient centre for visiting the Abel Tasman National Park.

Everything you could need for a stop in Nelson. Room very comfortable and bathroom fully equipped with bath and shower and all clean and tidy. Karel and David perfect hosts. Karel went above and beyond getting up early to give us breakfast before an early start for Abel Tasman. We also had a chance to get our laundry done after being let down by a hotel in Wellington. One thing I have never seen is complementary port in a room. A lovely touch. Cambria House was a perfect stop for a couple of nights on our NZ tour.

A really beautiful heritage home. The owner/host was so very helpful and friendly. Our room was massive with a great fitted out bathroom with the luxury of a slipper bath. Wonderful home cooked breakfast with additional choices. We sat outside in the lovely small garden and enjoyed a cup of tea. Easy pretty walk into Nelson. A very good quality stay. Thanks

Large, comfortable well-appointed rooms in the old-fashioned bed-and-breakfast style. Excellent breakfasts. Hosts were gracious. Walkable to downtown Nelson as well as the hiking trails in the hills behind town.

Cambria House was a lovely home -away -from -home for us while visiting Nelson. The owners, Karel and David made us feel welcome. The common rooms are filled with personal photos and antiques and include a snack and beverage area that is set up for their guests use. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. They cheerfully got up extra early to provide us with breakfast before our kayak trip, and offer several services/amenities to facilitate travel. We took advantage of the same day laundry service that they use, which was reasonably priced and a great help. Cambria House is located in a lovely, quiet street that is a few block walk to downtown Nelson. Nelson itself is a fun destination with lots of shops and restaurants to please every palate. I would recommend Cambria House to any friends and family that would be visiting Nelson.

Superior Nelson B&B! Karel and David are amazing hosts with a beautiful home and a welcoming smile. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Yummy hot breakfast, made to order. Quiet street, but so close to all the activities in the city. A must stay!

We loved our stay in Cambria house. Great location, on a nice quiet road with very easy walk into the main centre. And also close to the lovely river walk and Centre of NZ walk. David and Karel were very welcoming and lovely breakfast was provided. Good room, with a very comfortable bed, best nights sleep whilst in NZ so far! So many good restaurants, our best dinner in NZ so far was in this area.

Karel and David are amazing hosts. Beautifully appointed rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. They have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast is generous and delicious too! Highly recommend if you are staying in Nelson
