J y ai passé un séjour de pur bonheur …la nourriture est juste sublime et généreuse ! Chambre 6 un peu petite mais super cosy ! Super équipe !

An unforgettable family weekend at Moolmanshoek Private Nature Reserve! We spent the weekend at Moolmanshoek to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our group of 20 people felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was amazing — comfortable, spacious, and beautifully set against the backdrop of the reserve’s stunning scenery. The staff went above and beyond to take care of every detail. All our meals — breakfast, lunch, and supper — were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. On Friday afternoon, we enjoyed drinks and snacks while watching the spectacular horse run — a truly magical experience! Saturday was filled with activities for everyone. The kids loved their 30-minute horse ride, and some of the adults went on a fantastic two-hour ride through the nature reserve. Later, we all joined an eco drive across the reserve, ending with snacks and drinks overlooking the plains — the views were breathtaking. Every part of the weekend was thoughtfully planned, and the team at Moolmanshoek made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout. It’s a place that combines natural beauty, adventure, and heartfelt hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommended — Moolmanshoek is definitely a place to visit!

Moolmanshoek is a stunningly beautiful place. Rooms are comfortable, well appointed, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is delicious.Horse riding is amazing with many horses to choose from and excellent guiding on the rides. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful reserve

Awesome mountain landscape, beautiful Edwardian sandstone farmhouse, huge smiles from the incredible staff, restorative interactions with the horses which are everywhere, the wonderful food, incredibly forward thinking and honest soil restoration project with Oom Willie, this farm is a warm and welcoming place where you enter as guests and before long feel on a farm with close friends. I will admit that this is the kind of place that creeps under your skin and as you are driving out after a few days of bliss, your mind automatically starts planning the next trip! Few places have been so generous with their warmth and friendliness. The walks were extraordinary as were the wonderful vistas, mountains and wildlife. The horses in great condition, treated with kindness and respond in kind. Well worth the trek from Cape Town! Thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome and at home.

A group including grannies, moms, a tweenager and a seven year old - all on a trail riding holiday together - and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely
