I did not get to stay. I was on my way over with Esther for whom I had booked a room. She suffered a heart attack. We stopped mid journey, called an ambulence and took her away. I contacted the hotel AND ********** immediately and was given the runaround on phone and text while I was dealing with an emergency. I even sent an email to the hotel. That was last Sunday. Four days later, on Thursday, the hotel had not even bothered to respond , acknowledge or do anything. So I contacted ********** again and they gave me a partial refund. I am really quite shocked at the inhumanity shown by a hospitality services provider. I have full intention to go back to Tetbury to complete my Highgrove tour but I will definitely not pick the Ormond hotel. Neither am I inclined to use ********** as my faith in their providers has declined sharply as a result of this. I cannot get back my relative after what happened last week. I am shocked that the Ormond at Tetbury would charge me for this mishap.
