泰特伯里奧多姆旅館(The Ormond At Tetbury)

Poor Bed Mattress very soft and well used. Meal was awful and sent back, didn’t eat that night. Breakfast poor as well. Tired sort of place we usually stay at the Snooty Fox and will do so in the future! Overall, a waste of money!

I did not get to stay. I was on my way over with Esther for whom I had booked a room. She suffered a heart attack. We stopped mid journey, called an ambulence and took her away. I contacted the hotel AND ********** immediately and was given the runaround on phone and text while I was dealing with an emergency. I even sent an email to the hotel. That was last Sunday. Four days later, on Thursday, the hotel had not even bothered to respond , acknowledge or do anything. So I contacted ********** again and they gave me a partial refund. I am really quite shocked at the inhumanity shown by a hospitality services provider. I have full intention to go back to Tetbury to complete my Highgrove tour but I will definitely not pick the Ormond hotel. Neither am I inclined to use ********** as my faith in their providers has declined sharply as a result of this. I cannot get back my relative after what happened last week. I am shocked that the Ormond at Tetbury would charge me for this mishap.

Very disappointed when we arrived to find this hotel is actually rooms above a pub. Photos are very deceptive. Blood stain on pillow, unknown stains on duvet, shower that did not drain so had to keep turning it off, very little sleep due to noise during the evening and woken at 7am to builders on a Sunday morning ! Room service pizza was sitting in a pool of grease.

The room was not to expectation. More like a shack in a pub courtyard. No alternative offered. We did not check in. Preferred to take chance of losing deposit rather than stay there. Staff inattentive with take it or leave it attitude.

Hotel muy ageadable. Habitaciones comodas. Buena cena y buen desayuno.

Save your money and go elsewhere. Or spend more and stay elsewhere. Anything to just STAY ELSEWHERE! I was so excited to go to this hotel as we booked the enchanted forest that evening. Check in was OK. Room beds were comfortable and it was a clean room (abit of a long maze to get to the room). Dinner was absolutely TERRIBLE, and not only was the meal terrible, the waiter (same guy who checked us in), was holding the bill (covering the numbers) and overcharged the bill by almost 20 pounds. It was only when queried after I got back from the enchanted forest that he “mistakenly” gave the wrong bill. “Hmmmmmm” is all I can say. Made a complaint to the email address, the very person I made the complaint about was the one who emailed back at 11pm at night. Seems someone was keen to hush hush the situation. The front of house supervisor in the morning who checked us out was absolutely lovely but I didn’t catch his name! Would never return. Would never recommend and I’d steer well clear.

Disappointing the twin room was very small and only a shower expecting to have a bath. We booked for 2 nights. Luke warm water on the first morning followed by cold water the following day. There was no communication very disappointing. Breakfast also very disappointing

Very comfy night in a well presented room. Good location. Did not really see the staff other than to check in but they were friendly. Alot of noise from above my room at about 23.00 - lots of banging and voices but it is an old building. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again! The bed is so comfy
