We stayed in Crews for one night after cycling the Waterford Greenway. There was no one there on site when we arrived and all doors of entry were locked which was confusing. Eventually someone arrived! At first glance it looked clean but a closer look told us otherwise . The table and counter tops were sticky and dirty I has to wash them down myself! Two of the dining chairs were broken and the carpets were filthy! I went to use the bath matt it had a tuft of someone else's black hair on It! Disgusting! The bath was so slippery it was lethal! Crews looks lovely from outside but beware what lurks inside! We had to wipe our feet coming out! Never again

The apartment was located on the first floor of a historic building. The checkin process was easy and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The place itself was nicely decorated and we had plenty of space for our group of 5. The location is fantastic with just a short stroll to the main square and on the way there are more pubs, restaurants and a lovely bakery with amazing pastries for breakfast. On a more negative note, the mattress in one of the bedrooms was extremely uncomfortable. Both my wife and myself had a bad night. You could feel the springs and we had to sleep on the duvet :( Also we knew that there won't be toiletries or towels which was communicated before but I wish there were. We stayed in three locations during this trip and this one was the only one with no towels so we had to bring our own just because of that one accommodation. But the price was very affordable and we enjoyed our stay very much regardless. Thank you.
