Look no further! Florentin House is the perfect place to stay! The beds were so comfortable, linens always smelled fresh, and there was plenty of space in my double room to spread out. The front desk folks are so helpful and efficient, too. Breakfasts are included and are such a treat - you can't go wrong with Israeli coffee and a morning toasted sandwich or almond croissant. The location is ideal: minutes from the beach, Old Jaffa, dozens of restaurants, bars and cafés. The Florentin neighborhood pulses all day and well into the night. What a thrill to be able to live in the middle of it.

Our almost 6yo had an accident and staff did not know the number to call for an ambulance, nor how to assist the paramedics to access our room. When this feedback was provided the next day the manager was not receptive to this feedback. We do not blame the incident on the hostel, but we did expect help to manage the emergency. The manager tried to shame me for the accident happening as the supervising adult (as if mothers don't carry enough guilt when their children are injured!). When the manager agreed to allow us to vacate the room early, he said we had half an hour to leave or else he would call security. If the manager would have been receptive to feedback we would not have been so upset. The manager was incredibly rude when we provided this feedback, and left me with the impression he is not interested in improving safety procedures We wanted him to take on board improvements for future incidents, but he said things are different in Israel than Australia (where we live).

I would not stay here again mostly based on location. I'm a young female traveler who stayed at this hostel with a friend and while the area of Florentin is nice, the surrounding streets to get there from central Tel Aviv are always very empty and I didn't feel safe walking alone or with a friend. I would recommend staying somewhere more central and near the beach, like the Selina Hostel. We also had a misunderstanding with the staff about the room booking and the management were so quick to be rude and awful- the stay became stressful. If you are a young traveler, I would avoid this booking and choose to stay somewhere else, it isn't worth it despite the good reviews.

Super clean bathroom, comfortable bed, nice balcony, great location. Front desk helped whenever we had a question. They provided a voucher for coffee and a sandwich which was a nice touch. Overall, nice place to stay!

Clean, funtional rooms, very good comfortable beds. Communal room with fresh water,coffee (inclusive milk and soyamilk), tea, snacks ...Microwave, toaster, big fridge - all very clean . Games, books . In the neighbourhood are restaurants, bars, great bakery ! And the staff is extremly friendly!!

Great place! Very clean and comfortable rooms, great bed and very friendly staff. The location is very central, it is in one of the coolest neighborhoods and has everything you need close by. Despite being in a very lively street the room was very quiet and chill. Highly recommended!
