LQ Hotel by Wyndham Tegucigalpa

Oportunidad de mejora en el nivel de servicio, al momento de hacer el check in, pueden estar desocupados y no ayudan a atender con prontitud. En otra ocasión a las 7:10 am y ya no hay nada disponible en el desayuno. En otra ocasión no hay tenedores ni servilletas disponibles. Casi siempre el buffet está frío. Tomar en consideración!

Hotel molto buono,pulito e confortevole. A colazione vasta scelta nel buffet. Il caffè espresso è a pagamento ma comunque buono.Camerieri e staff molto cordiali. Al piano 9,vista su Tegucigalpa e palestra.Dista solamente un’ora circa da aeroporto di Palmerola e quindi ottimo per chi viaggia per lavoro.

We paid quite a bit for a weekend stay. It was rose weekend and wine festival so rooms were at a premium. Front desk was not welcoming and his jacket and fast food were on the table where they serve breakfast. Certainly they can eat out of the eyes of guests. Room smelled stuffy. Toilet handle broken Kleenex box empty juice machine broken. I could go on and one.

Upon arriving to our room the AC was not working and the bed sheets were dirty/stained. So we were moved to a different room/floor, this is not such a big issue as it's understandable that things like this can happen. We had issues with the shower especially at night time the water would only come out scalding hot. Also, occasionally the toilet and sink water would come out a brownish/yellowish color. Other than that everything else worked, the hotel was clean and quiet despite exterior remodeling going on. The major issue was customer service, or the lack thereof, the front desk was mediocre and unremarkable. There were multiple incidents with one security guard that treated us disrespectfully, rudely and discourteously. This was reported to the front desk and we never heard back from them, not an apology or explanation of his offensive behavior. I personally felt targeted and even unsafe. Needless to say we won't be coming back to LQ Tegucigalpa, it's a shame because we are long time customers pre-covid we would stay months at a time wheneverwe visited Honduras. The one bright spot was Cristian at the restaurant, in our 20 day stay he was the only one who greeted us cheerfully everytime and took the time to get to know us and even learn what we liked and our orders. He made our stay a bit more pleasant. So thank you Cristian.
