西廣場飯店(West Plaza Hotel)

Was an amazing stay, great day at the cricket and a great hotel

Stayed her for a work on 5 August 2022 Good hotel in a handy central location. Good reception area, staff were friendly and welcoming. Not a modern hotel by any means but a classic feel to it. Was assigned a wheelchair accessible room 507, Room was a small queen room that was clean and well appointed. Being a disability accessible room, the bathroom was huge and essentially a wet-room without a bath. Not that I wanted one, but you would expect to see one, normally. Nearly slipped in the shower as I didn't find the rubber grip mat until after my shower as it was under the towels on the towel rail, where I didn't see it, rather than in the shower on the hand rail where I would. Good to see they have done away with the plastic bottles for Had an internal room facing another hotel block without a view, but this meant it was quiet. Wellington can get noisy on a Friday night but I slept well. Check out took maybe 10 seconds. Would stay again. Damon

On arrival was told to park in a different location/property. Away from the hotel parking as the staff said was full. When inquired was told you can park upstairs but since you signed for pa4king there could not be r3funded but have to pay extra. So you did not read the fine print was te managers reply.

The property was well located in the central city, short walk to most of the Wellington sights and central city activities. We attended a function at the Michael Fowler centre that was directly across the road, so very handy to that and local eateries etc.

Very noisy surrounding areas at night and early morning which disrupts sleep. The hotel room was clean and well presented and check in staff welcoming and friendly. Convenient location.

On arrival looks quite nice, staff were friendly but getting into the room they were quite dated. Felt a bit cheap.

Rooms was clean, staff was kind and helpful. Super conveniently located to walk around Wellington

Absolut zentral,aber bei der bichung ist leider nur in den Geschäftsbedingungen zu lesen,das man für den Parkplatz zu bezahlen hat,was mich sehr geärgert hat!
