Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Bure direkt am Strand. Die Mitarbeiterinnen sind absolute Herzensmenschen, unglaublich sympathisch, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant war herausragend gut. Wir dachten anfangs noch, wir würden nicht jeden Tag dort essen (die Preise sind nicht ganz günstig) - haben uns dann aber doch dafür entschieden. Immer frisch und selbstgemacht. Einfach zu lecker! Es blieben keine Wünsche offen, wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt!

This beautiful small resort on Taveuni was such a pleasure! It was perhaps a 3 minute drive from the airport. My husband and I traveled with another couple and we had such a nice time. The whole resort has only 3 bures, so our group occupied 2/3rds of the rooms. My husband and I paid for the bure closest to the beach, and we loved it, outdoor shower and all. Since we had a little jet leg from the US, and since much of the island doesn't have electricity other than generators, we turned in early each night and woke up in time for the spectacular sunrise. Really lovely. The owner has the resort for sale and is operating it remotely, but the ladies running the place are awesome and also very good cooks. We paid one night for dinner at a more expensive resort (Taveuni Island Resort) and wished we had stayed home to eat. One night the ladies invited us to a fundraiser at the local school, and we had delicious lovo and a dance party with the school children. So fun! We also borrowed the resort's kayaks and paddled out to Honeymoon Island, which was a hoot. Make sure you have the ladies explain to you when low tide and high tide is. We went out not completely at high tide but still made it fine. The ladies arranged for taxis for us for two days for the Lavena Coastal Walk and the Bouma waterfalls. Ten out of ten stars. Taveuni is hard to reach from the US, but totally worth it for the determined.

All of the 5 star reviews on TA already detail everything that we completely agree with about Coconut Grove, the beds are comfy, the bures are fabulous and the beach is beautiful, the food - you absolutely CANNOT find anything as delicious on Taveuni. However what makes Coconut unique, and what you will not find anywhere else, is Serah, Ester, Biu, Flori and Fena, and Byron - special mention to Harry the taxi driver, he gave us so many adventures and laughs. They made us feel like family, nothing was too much trouble and we were thoroughly spoilt, it is hard to pick one highlight of our stay as it was all fabulous but we would say that there is a reason the kitchen is the hub of any home, in the CG kitchen you find, laughter, love, dancing, singing and fun and are always welcome. We are in debt to the CG family for returning home rested, relaxed and with our new catch phrase "sega na leqa" Fijian for "No Worries!". Thank for CG Team... slippers are on their way!

Very lovely place to stay! Everyone treated us like we were old friends or family members though we met each other the first time. The kitten biscuit is so lovely and free~~ We lived in the Mango bure directly facing the east, I woke up every morning, the first glance is the glorious sunrise from the balcony of the bure. The days I stayed here is the best holiday I could ever see in dreams.

Si quieres hospedarte en un lugar sencillo, precioso, ser atendido por mujeres siempre dispuestas a ayudarte, en un enclave de lujo, a la orilla de la playa y comer pescado delicioso, tu lugar es el Coconut Grove!
