Bar downstairs keeps the ooonst music going well into the morning making sleep difficult. The insistence on photo ID after having received payment in full is a slight on my character and serves no legal purpose other that your desire to add to 'big data' acquisition. We will not be coming back.

C'était parfait! Propre convivial le personnel était très agréable . Je me suis fait plain de nouveau amis et le rooftop était très agréable . Petite surprise on avait une salle de bain dans notre chambre pour les gemme uniquement ! Très très bien!

I booked for 3 nights to start with as I wanted to check the area first to see if I would like it. The bud thinning season is about to start and the lovely reception people helped me get a job and offered me a discounted weekly rate! So glad I tried this place out. Also the view is insane, so so beautiful. I love having my breakfast looking at the water, it sets the ton for my day. Feeling happy and relaxed! :)

Stayed here for 2 months and would have definitely stayed on longer thanks to all the amazing people I met :) Booked a few nights then staff offered to move me into a long term weekly room which was perfect for me on a tighter budget. Kitchens and bathrooms are cleaned throughly daily. The common areas are perfect for socialising or just chilling out by yourself - especially the views from the deck!! I moved rooms a few times and each of the rooms were great and had enough space for everyone’s things (just BYO your own padlock!). All the staff were incredible and couldnt do enough whether it was the housekeeping, reception or night wardens - thanks for the epic memories Wanderlust ☺️.

Beautiful building with amazing staff! What else could you want from a hostel! Facilities cleaned daily and the rooms are perfect for backpacking. A true credit to the staff and owners efforts in keeping the place the way it is. Love it and will definitely be returning. RM 🫶

Cute little place to stay, prime location, water view, buses, bars and restaurants. Lots of people friendly to interact. I used private room with ensuite for me and my partner. We shared kitchens which was fine, allowing us to interact with the hostel guest and bathrooms privately in our room. Perfect for some time away and for the stop in tauranga during our NZ travels. Pretty clean and tidy, the staff was helpful when i stopped them to ask few questions. I would love to visit again.
