從奧克蘭出來第一站，Motel很乾凈，位置很好，離huka瀑布開車幾分鐘，離陶波湖走路十分鐘不到，離超市步行十分鐘不到，老闆娘和前台都是華人，很熱情。

前台有中國人。叫麥吉。 服務非常好。很熱情。 給我們升級了房間， 又幫我們續訂了一天。 給了當地的牛奶，餅乾。 一共住了三個晚上。 房間很乾凈，也很安靜。 去大超市、餐館、鎮中心，走着就可以去。 非常方便。 然後幫着租車、如果在機場取車， 下班的時候可以送我們去機場取車。 後來發現鎮上就有租車的地方， 從酒店走幾分鐘就到了。 然後告訴當地玩的景點。 又介紹當地的美食。給了餐廳的折扣卡。 介紹餐廳好吃的菜。 謝謝麥吉！ 你的服務太好了。 我們在陶波玩的很愉快！

老闆特別熱情，還幫忙開車送我到車站。房間温馨乾淨，比照片上好看很多，設施也很全，還帶着廚房。如果非要説缺點的話就是隔音不太好，晚上公路上的汽車聲有點大。

房間很乾凈，車子停門口也非常方便，去周邊也方便，如果想休息一晚，性價比不錯的

auf unser rundreise, und halt in taupo, wählten wir dieses motel, an sehr guter lage. man ist schnell am see, divserer restaurants und cafes, shoppingmöglichkeiten, ob zu fuss oder mit auto. die zimmer sehr grosszügig und geschmackvoll gestaltet, mit schönem aussenbereich, praktischer küche mit allem, sowie bad mit dusche und badewanne.ein parkplatz praktisch vor der zimmertüre. sehr freundliche begrüssung beim einchecken, und hilfsbereit. man fühlt sich willkommen.

Such a great place to stay, great location not far from the lake and clean motel to stayed. We stayed here for 1 night it was convenient but the bed quite small and so bright light up the ceiling as a blue color it was quite interrupted during sleeping at night.

A very pleasant place to stay for a few nights. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful. It is about one kilometre from the waterfront if you walk straight down, bit closer to town if you cut across. Tea/coffee/sugar all updated daily. Quiet and extremely clean, with seats outside the front and back of the unit.

Spent 6 nights here and spent time in the Taupo and Rotorua areas. Motel is in a very good location for a short walk to the town centre. Facilities were excellent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were always happy to help with any queries. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay. Excellent facilities. Very clean and tidy. Friendly reception staff. Good quality furnishings. A little pricey but worth it for the quality of the room. Four of us stayed and there was a separate bedroom with a TV. Loved the fact there was actually a bath as well as a shower.

Worst experience I've ever had. Rude staff and no mention of a deposit on *********** or on their own website until you are actually onsite and checking in. Rude and unfriendly manager. It was a waste of money and time. Drove 2 hours to come to Taupo only to leave a few hours later. We got a full refund though but it was 2 days later than we were told the money would arrive in our bank. Which motel forbids visitors to their room during the day? Answer - This motel does. And the room visitors were from another room in the same motel, not from outside. They were my nieces who were going to watch tv with their grandmother. We kept getting told that the contract was for one person and after the manger could not find another excuse she changed her tune to "My motel my rules" Find another motel, guys. To the manager- I know you will read this. Grow some courage and call me to talk if you want. I know you've blocked my number. There is a lot I am leaving out too....I will be contacting the motel association too about this.

*PLEASE READ* Checked into this motel for the night with family of 6 and had my uncle and grandmother join us - they booked separate rooms within that motel. Staying in accomodation during holidays for over 17 years this is the first time we experienced this: - Firstly, we were told we had to pay $300 bond, however this was not displayed on the website at all. - My sisters (10y and 15y) went to my grandmothers room for a cup of tea, the owner came knocking on the door and demanded they get out as ‘visitors are not allowed’ she also mentioned that it is NZ Law that there cannot be people going into each others rooms. We removed them from the room. She also videoed our faces unsure why. - The owner took photos of our vehicle. She took photos of the front (which I assume is the number plate) but also the side of our vehicle. When asking if everything is ok - she claimed she’s just taking a photo of our rego, this was done without a consent form signed. - Upon conversation with the owner, she mentioned the NZ Law and the ‘no visitors allowed in each others room even if you live in the same motel (next door)’ I told her that was very interesting as we had stayed in Rotorua, Napier and Tauranga prior to coming to Ashbrook motel and never had issues like this. When I asked her this question she said she feels threatened. As quoted, she said: ‘If your not happy to follow rule you can leave.’ She told us to get out of the motel. Such a horrendous experience that I took my family, which also includes my 85y grandmother and drove back to Wellington. The behaviour of the Motel owner was absolutely shocking. She did not want to hear what we have to say and kept repeating that she feels threatened and wants us gone after asking her 1 question. I am no expert - but this type of behaviour is legally and ethically shocking. Please beware before you book into this motel. Also, if you are the owner reading this review, I invite you to email me your motel policies AND send me the relevant NZ legislation per your conversation.
