Das Zimmer war groß und sauber und hatte ein Bett. Die Küche war auch gut ausgestattet und Frühstück wurde jeweils am Vortag aufs Zimmer gebracht (Toast und Marmelade). Den Thermalpool habe ich nicht genutzt. Das Auto stand direkt vor der Zimmertür und Internet war kostenlos verfügbar. Ich hatte das Zimmer beim AA gebucht, weil es eines der wenigen um den Tongariro NP war, das man per Internet vorbuchen konnte, allerdings war es ziemlich weit vom Startpunkt des Tongariro Crossing entfernt. Taumarundi bietet eher wenig, zwei Supermärkte und zwei Tankstellen gibt es aber.

The room was clean and tidy but very dated. Could hear a bit of noise from other guests coming and going. Overall okay for a one night stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful on arrival. Close to the town centre to go out for early morning coffee.

The Studio Unit was meticulously clean and very comfortable. Nothing was a problem. Friendly & helpful staff too, especially Nancy. Great location close to shops & eateries. Thankyou for a great stay.

We were on the first floor in a clean and comfy room with plenty of space. There was a microwave complete with a microwave container which was an added bonus. The shower was hot and there was everything we needed to make our two nights very enjoyable. I'm guessing we'll be back one day...

The motel has certainly seen better days, maintenance wise - even though everything was clean. No A/c, which was unusual. As well, there is a very antiquated system of hot water as each room has its own small system. We didn't run out but beware.

It’s an older fairly basic motel, but clean and tidy. Excellent location, easy walk to the centre of town. A bit noisy as no sound insulation and a little traffic noise, but not enough to keep me awake. Beds were reasonably comfortable, we stopped for 1 night after driving the Forgotten Highway, it’s probably a good option if you’re doing something similar and want a reasonably priced bed for the night. Note: it’s just around the corner from the excellent Jasmine Thai restaurant, this restaurant has great food.
