We stayed here mainly because it’s very close to Window of China Theme Park, which made our trip more convenient, especially for families. There are quite a few scenic restaurants nearby with decent food, reasonable prices, and beautiful views—definitely worth a visit.
The hotel itself is quite old. The room has a private hot spring bath, but you can tell it’s dated. The floor had quite a bit of sand and dust, so it didn’t feel very clean when walking barefoot. Slippers are not complimentary—you have to purchase them for NT$10 a pair. Since it’s located in the mountains, the humidity is quite high, and the wardrobe had a slight musty smell. The bathing area is in the same room, which adds to the dampness. There’s no separate fan, only a ceiling fan combined with the room light.
Mosquitoes were also a bit of an issue, so bringing mosquito repellent is recommended.
Overall, it’s a decent choice if your main priority is the location and access to nearby scenic dining spots. But if you’re expecting a more modern and comfortable stay, you may want to adjust your expectations.
