Wrapped in the cashmere caress of the unique five star boutique on a cliff overlooking the Ionian Sea in a magical garden setting of glowing lights and beautifully appointed terrace, the story of elevated Sicilian cuisine tells a story of the Etna elements, authentic produce and traditions elevated with modern techniques set apart by its inner beauty. From exceptional amuse bouche to amuse bouche to an forgettable bread course with a whipped sweet cream hand turned butter, through each chapter of our selected menu of Sicilian flavors including a delicate crisped zucchini pasta to the perfect bite of Al Dente lasagna of ragu to a trio of perfectly seasoned and delicately grilled meats to a fantastical finish of miniature Italian desserts all beautifully plated and intellectually stimulating of the senses; topping a special evening of lovingly prepared food and beautifully presented and paced service. We very highly recommend the Batu and San Pietro, five stars all the way and without the tired forced pretentiousness so common now, from the moment we stepped out of our car thru every experience from breakfast to pool to coordinated excursions. Thank you so much to Luigi, Chef Luca, Fabio, Mikela, Nino, the very kind pool manager, and the entire GHSP dedicated staff for making our trip so memorable. To start I booked as a member of I prefer and I must say this is the most unsatisfactory experience I have had since my two week holiday in Sicily . The rooms need an update and very disappointed when we asked to switch rooms , no upgrades available . Room I was noisy. The pool service if any was less than most other 5 star hotels I stayed in . The Ipreferred summary of what is included is not very accurate . You only get 45 mins complimentary use of sauna /jacuzzi (not mentioned ) The shuttle has a schedule but they do not follow it . When we called to say the pickup back was not here , the front desk was not accommodating and said you need to make a reservation . Why do they have a schedule then , if they do not follow it . We never received turn down service like the description said . The breakfast buffet was ok. The dinner was excellent but very pricey. The views from the pool and lobby were beautiful., but our hotel and room in Cefalu across from the beach were beautiful and much less expensive. I prefer is a corporation that I will have to contact when I get back home. Overall , was adequate but not 5 star.

We visited the hotel for lunch and it was incredible. We were in Toarmina for 5 days and this was the best meal of the trip! Our host/server Jovanni was amazing - so attentive, friendly and made us feel like a million dollars! The restaurant is stunning and the food is absolutely delicious. Can not recommend this place enough - it is beautiful!

Quando ospitalità e professionalità si fondono in un perfetto equilibrio, il risultato è il Giardino degli ulivi del Grand Hotel San Pietro. Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro anniversario di nozze in questa location incantevole. L’accoglienza dello staff ti fa sentire subito a casa, per non parlare della squisita gentilezza di Raffaele, il quale ci ha deliziato, alla fine della cena, con delle ottime pesche flambé. Il menù degustazione è stato ottimo e di qualità. Complimenti allo Chef! A presto.

Nous avons adoré cet hôtel ! La vue est incroyable, surplombant la Méditerranée, notre chambre (la 604) était parfaite, petit déjeuner très bien, le restaurant de l'hôtel était très bon également (nous y avons dîné), rien à redire sur le personnel, les extérieurs sont très bien entretenus, Nous avons loué un scooter et avons eu la chance de nous balader aux alentours et lors d'un prochain séjour nous choisirons de nouveau le Grand Hôtel San Pietro.

Ciò che eleva l’Hotel a un livello stratosferico è l'esperienza di massaggio decontratturante offerta dalla dottoressa Elena. Parole come "straordinaria" e "eccezionale" non rendono giustizia al talento di questa maestra assoluta. Elena possiede un’esperienza e una competenza di rilevanza internazionale; le sue mani sono come strumenti magici che alleviano ogni tensione e trasformano il corpo e la mente. Non è solo un massaggio, è un viaggio verso la salute e il benessere. Se cercate la perfezione in forma di relax, non potete fare a meno di prenotare una sessione con la Dott.ssa Elena. È un'esperienza che cambierà la vostra concezione di massaggio!

Non si può desiderare di meglio per un soggiorno in pieno relax. Struttura meravigliosa con tutti i confort a disposizione, personale ECCELLENTE, gentilissimo, sempre disponibile, cordiale con i bambini ❤️ Cibo di ottimissima qualità. Pulizia delle camere impeccabile. Non posso che ringraziarvi per il meraviglioso soggiorno. Grazie!

Siamo stati a cena presso il Batu, il ristorante gourmet del Grand Hotel San Pietro Taormina è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile. Avvolto in un luogo esclusivo affacciato sul Mar Ionio, in un magico giardino di luci splendenti e arredata di buon gusto, la storia dell'alta cucina siciliana viene racconta tramite prodotti di altissima qualità che lo Chef Luca manipola con tecniche moderne. Luigi è stato la nostra guida, appassionato e profondamente esperto ci ha regalato una emozione in ogni momento della cena, dagli eccezionali canapè, al pane indimenticabile servito con burro lavorato a mano ed olio locale, ad ogni piatto del nostro menu i sapori siciliani si sono fatti strada, tra questi una delicata pasta di zucchine croccanti, continuando con il sugo perfetto delle lasagne al ragù fino al tripudio di carni perfettamente condite e delicatamente grigliate per finire con un fantastico piatto di dessert in miniatura come si usava fare un tempo nelle tavole locali, tutti i piatti erano splendidamente impiattati e intellettualmente stimolanti. Consigliamo vivamente Batu e San Pietro, cinque stelle in tutto, dal momento in cui siamo scesi dalla macchina attraverso ogni esperienza. Grazie mille allo Chef Luca e a Luigi, Roberta ed il sommelier Raffaele, gentilissimi e bravissimi, un immenso grazie per aver reso la nostra serata così memorabile.
