安貝魯公寓(Amberoo Apartments)

The building layout was good. We could not block out early morning sunlight. My feet got dirty walking around the apar**ent after showering.

No office, no communication, pool was unusable, missing towel rails and other things missing in bathroom, outside table and chairs covered in cobwebs, photos didn’t match what the place was like.

Nice size - great shower and really comfortable beds. had everything that we needed for the one night stay.

Great spot - close to city centre, and nice area. The apar**ent was a good space, good size but it’s definitely like student accommodation (every bedroom door has a lock and a key) Also 1 night we were there as putting kids to bed 3 car loads of guys pulled up, 1 car parked in front of our apar**ent they swam in the pool for 45mins then left - like they’ve done it before or regularly. Apar**ent could definitely have done with a spring clean. Kitchen was well equipped (3 rice makers in cupboards!) Comfortable place to rest your head but not very welcoming. One major plus was the size of the bath towels!! Finally a decent sized towel 🙌

I advise anyone who has booked this hotel for Agquip to seriously make sure you have a backup plan as you might find your room is cancelled or you have been moved to the dumpy house in Sth Tamworth. Don’t get caught out…

Booked ages ago and now after multiple updating cc details multiple times, they have cancelled our booking only to raise prices and show availability on their site. Dodgy as *&!!, would not recommend at all.

We booked 6 months in advance as we were visiting agquip. Got a call on the day we were travelling to Tamworth to advise our booking was no longer valid. We were offered a houso style home in south Tamworth, we were hung up on and told to f$&ko;f in those exact words when we told them that we want the room we booked in town. I guess they sold the room at a higher price. What a grubby operator. We then had to accept the home and give credit card and driver’s license details as there was no where else to stay. The home below is the accommodation we ended up with.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Communication is hard as there is no office and no staff at the property. Walls are very thin and you can hear neighbours.

Fantastic, close to Tafe. Only downfall was the oven door didn’t seal properly so my roast dinner took 3 hours to cook.
