We have just returned from an incredible 6-night stay at Frangipani Tree and could not recommend it highly enough. We had originally booked only 3 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay! From the moment we arrived—very late in the evening—the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel instantly welcome. No matter the hour, they were ready to prepare a delicious meal. The location is stunning, the service is truly five-star, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and felt like a tranquil sanctuary away from the busyness. We loved starting each day with the lovely breakfast and spending time enjoying the beautiful surroundings—it was genuinely hard to leave. It was also our daughter’s birthday during our stay, and Sangeewa & Thusara went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised her with a delicious cake, balloons, and so much kindness—she absolutely loved it! A huge thank you to the wonderful kind staff , Sangeewa, Thusara, Pawan, Isura, Baragama, Dinesh & Kasun for making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön. Unawatuna ist nicht sehr weit, aber hier hat man doch seine Ruhe. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, jedes Blatt wird aufgenommen. Der Strand ist eher nur für mutige zum Schwimmen geeignet, aber man kann Schildkröten beobachten, die im Meer schwimmen. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und gross. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Das Bad ist ein Traum - offen und riesig. Thushara war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Team bemüht sich sehr.

We went to the Frangipani Tree hotel in May. Very poor experience. No service. Staff not present - hiding whenever possible. No security at entrance booth…very weird management.

Arriving in the hotel from the busy road is like stepping into a dream. The beautiful low buildings are laid out around an equally beautiful small pool, and the rooms - each named after a turtle species - are somehow both simple and luxurious. I think it is the first time I have had a bathroom in the open air, with a frangipani tree growing in it... The food was fabulous and portions extremely generous, especially the Sri Lankan options. Breakfast is memorable, and the outside tables are yards from the sea. The staff are delightful - friendly, helpful and efficient. Altogether a fantastic experience.

It was a great experience. Dammika played with our kid the entire time and let him run around and pretend to be apart of the staff team. Also the pool is great for folks that want to do some laps while their on vacation.

Disappointed with our recent stay at the frangipani tree. No sockets by side tables, burnt sockets, no hot water, no blackout blinds, bathroom leak, and no phone for assistance. We deserve a refund. #HotelFeedback
