We stayed in the Deluxe Pool Villa for 5 nights. The resort is in 2 sections. The front section has beach frontage with a pool & restaurant, the back section with the Villa's is set individually amongst garden with a large pool with water slide & playground for children, then another pool for adults only. Buffet breakfast selection has a variety of options to select from. The villa was very spacious with your own private pool with 2 spa jets. Whilst the main pools close at 6pm, you can continue to use your own private pool. With warm nights it was lovely being able to cool off later in the evening. Our room was provided with 2 beach towels. We had a small private courtyard with an outdoor shower. Our villa had a split system air-con for easy control of temperature. The bathroom was also spacious with a large bath, separate shower & toilet, and vanity area. Villa was serviced each day. The bed whilst firm, wasn't too uncomfortable. In all our Thailand & Asia travels, beds do typically tend to be in the firm side. The resort is located just a short walk from the main street, so it was very tranquil. Buffet breakfast had something for everyone There are plenty of choices on main street for food options. Bring the low season (July), they were renovating areas of the resort, but we didn't find it overly disturbing. We would happily stay here again.
訪訪客用戶This is the 2nd time here as we came in 2022 with our two daughters. This time we booked a Zeavola beach bungalow (102), the room is faultless and housekeeping good. Sheets/bed pillow lovely. There were a lot of sunbeds directly outside our room so it wasn’t very private for sitting on the balcony & due to the position of the trees you didn’t get much sun on your balcony. Food here is good but you can also walk to a few different beachfront places really easily which are obviously cheaper. It is also possible to walk up to the main ***** via the beach/road in about half hour, we particularly liked the monkey bar but also The Golden Elephant restaurant which is actually only 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel has 3 different bars which all have their own happy hour which was handy too & sunsets were lovely. We did a trip to see the turtle sanctuary & washed elephants from here which was a very good day and booked via the hotel easily & same price as we found on trip
匿匿名用戶Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Tui blue Khaolak hotel.
訪訪客We had a very good 4 day break here. We rented a bungalow which was roomy with its own terrace. Good sized double bed, fridge, great shower room and a huge bath. The setting is gorgeous, the other side of the road from a deserted beach - but no sun beds. Water ways and a lake surround it and makes you feel as though you are in the rainforest. Beautiful - if it was cleaned up. Therein lies the problem. The whole place needs a refurbishment and the gardens/grounds need to be a lot tidier. It was probably OK before Covid and I sympathise with them, but for the money it should be a lot better. The breakfast was ok but not worth looking to eat there in the evening. Having said that there are four great restaurants outside within 100 yards. All the staff were wonderful and very helpful - English not their strong point but you can get by OK. It is a long way from Khao Lak so you need a car/bike. The area is well worth spending some time around, especially Takua Pa Old Town. The Tsunami museums are not great but still a must visit. We did enjoy our stay but feel that with a lot more effort the place would be really buzzing again. Would we go back? Possibly - as we loved the area and you could get a great dinner at the Mercure Resort (or the Meridien) if you wanted to push the boat out - as we did for my wife’s birthday on 8th February.
