Overall a good stay. A minor problem with the wash basin not emptying properly. The pillows too hard. There was no bedding for the sofa bed, really uncomfortable and sofa had a red stain on seat covered up with a throw

Only stayed for one night but the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was an excellently presented will definitely use the White Hart again

Excellent stay - Comfortable rooms, great meals at the on site pub and a lovely breakfast.

My husband and I had a great stay at The White Hart recently. I am a fussy person and therefore I pay attention to detail. I have paid £200 a night at a 5 star historical hotel chain and found this place so much better on many levels most importantly cleanliness. Not to mention very welcoming staff and quality of food. We loved the pub and was so pleased that we decided to book a table. We chose the 3 course Valentine special menu which was exceptional...compliments to the chef!! We had a scotch egg with black pudding, Lamb with asparagus and mangetout. We had the cheesecake dessert which was delicious. We loved our food and service so much that we ate again the next day and had Sunday lunch which was one of the best I have ever had in a pub (and I've had a few!!) The room was a good size. The bedding was spotless and well made and the bed was really comfy (2 singles put together) Nothing shabby all in good order. Bathroom was lovely and even the liquid hand wash/ shower gel (which I wouldn't normally use) was nice and zesty. The TV was a good size compared with some hotels. I loved the fact the guest rooms are in an annex which is very well maintained and presented. We never heard the traffic from our room which is a bit plus to me as I am a light sleeper. Solid walls to the rooms and did not hear other guests so a big plus. All in all a great stay and would I stay again...Yes definitely can't wait!!!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms pleasant and well prepared. Some noisy guests on certain nights but this isn’t the hosts fault.

A great value for money stay good staff good facilities large clean room only grizzle i had was being charged for a small glass of soda water but overall very good

Really good value, convenient location for us, surprisingly quiet. We had no problem parking. It well signed, outside and in. Helpful, courteous, cheerful staff. A spacious room (a little cool at first). Decent, tasty dinner ( not inc) Lovely breakfast (inc) Would recommend the White Hart..👍
