Mattresses, bedding and pillows were selected for comfort and warmth. A dog bed, toys and dinner tray await your furry family member. It gets pretty cold and windy in the winter, so your pooch may need a coat for night time walks.Wintergreen is a four-season resort offering ziplining, Winter skiing and tubing, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, private pools, two golf courses (one at the top and bottom of the mountain), miles of hiking trails and Lake Monocan, a 20-acre lake and park is located at Stoney Creek. Lake Monocan is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. During the ski season a shuttle with pick you up just outside and take you to the main lodge and ski slopes. Wintergreen’s more than 30 miles of marked hiking trails are developed and maintained by The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen which offers guided hikes every Saturday and Wednesday in summer. The entrance into Wintergreen is located just 1 mile to the Blue Ridge Parkway which has the areas most scenic drive as well and loads of hiking trails and overlooks.
