*THE COTTAGE* Spacious Rosehill Cottage has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a main first floor riverfront bedroom with king bed, secondary first floor riverfront bedroom with queen bed, and large upstairs room with two full beds and a pullout couch. Note: the upstairs room has an exterior entrance off the living room. Downstairs, the fully stocked kitchen opens up to a breakfast area where you can sip your morning coffee while taking in stunning river views. Then, stroll through the open, airy space to the cozy living room with its roaring fireplace (one of your hosts would like to note this is the perfect off-season spot for a glass of bourbon and watching football), a front sitting area for a sunset read, and a dining area that seats 8. If you're looking for a spot with strong wifi to work remotely, this is it! Take your meetings while looking out at the river or head upstairs to the 'office' with a desk and a Zoom-ready background.Outside, you'll find adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a Solo stove fire pit overlooking the Rappahannock River, steps leading into the river with two kayaks, a darling rose garden, and even a white picket fence. The charm here is unrivaled –– Rosehill Cottage is your hideaway on the river.*EXPLORING VIRGINIA’S RIVER REALM*If you're unfamiliar with the area, we're located in Locust Hill, right down the road from Urbanna, where you'll find small town dining and shopping –– as well as the heralded Urbanna Oyster Festival (we’re in oyster country!).We're also just a quick drive from the Northern Neck, Irvington, White Stone the Tides Inn, and, our favorite restaurants in the area, Merroir and Adrift. Deltaville, Kilmarnock, Mathews, and Gloucester are all also within 20 minutes. If you're the antiquing sort, this is your region.
