The hotel was nice and clean. The receptionists were very nice and professional. The room was big enough and tidy. Breakfast is plentiful, you can find here pastries, jam, fruits, vegetables, cheese, salami, eggs, sausages, juices, coffee, etc. BUT! The restaurant was a disaster. It is in an open area right next to the reception, so new guests look you right in the mouth. The cold air blew terribly from the front door, so we had to sit in a jacket for dinner. The wine at 690 CZK was a tragedy, the taste was totally inadequate, which was no surprise when we eventually found out that you can buy this wine for 120 CZK. Unfortunately, the food also did not match the price. We were disappointed that there were too many people in the spa. We didn't even use The jacuzzi and pool because it was impossible to move around. To get from the pool to the sauna you have to walk through the gym. The only sauna was no problem in spa.
Great stay. Nice hotel, close to the city centre, very good location, nice friendly professional and helpful staff, especially the front desk Manager František. Nice room, big and good equipped. I definitely recommend this hotel.
As the new social soul of the city, W Prague breathes life into the former and famed Grand Hotel Evropa. This stunning Art Nouveau building, once a witness to many historical moments and a boundary-pusher in the 1900s, now returns to do so again in true W fashion. Throughout the 161 luxurious suites and guest rooms, bold and whimsical designs with golden details adorn the interior, evoking the essence of Alchemy. The secret ingredient? An expansive culinary journey that’s a masterclass in contrasting flavors and genres. Where nature meets modernity and reality mingles with fantasy, W Prague becomes a magnet for moments worth remembering. This is the comeback of a legacy; this is history in the remaking.

This hotel was absolutely impeccable. The location was a 10 min easy stroll to key sites like the astronomical clock and 2 more mins to the Charles bridge. There were Christmas markets right outside the door and the main one near the clock. The staff provided the best service I experienced in Prague with every encounter. The doormen / bellmen were attentive and knew me by face. I was staying over the NYE holiday and I felt like they were added security. The front desk remembered me from check in and greeted me by name daily. They were super helpful with directions and guidance locally. The wait staff in the restaurant and bar were fabulous. The excitement about the NYE celebrations was palpable and yet they still purposefully focused on the people in front of them at the moment. My room was phenomenal and spotless. Every detail was accounted for - as expected at a W. However, I really felt the boutique hotel experience. The gym was great - I would have liked to use the sauna without extra charge but that wasn’t possible. Lastly, I want to recognize the great work of management. They were present but not overbearing which isn’t common. They did a perfect job of allowing their staff to do what they do best and just were present if needed. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again without thinking twice. Incredible stay! Thank you!
訪訪客Lovely 4 night break in beautiful Prague. Hotel was clean, clean towels and beds made daily. All the staff very helpful and pleasant, gave us a local map and explained where the sites were. Located in a quiet street but all the attractions are within walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful, cereals, toast, yogurt, fruit, eggs, juice etc set us up for the day. Would definitely return to Cloister Inn and wonderful Prague.
