On arrival we were met with miserable, rude staff in both the reception and the bar. First day of sunshine we were told the beach was closed, all the other beaches around were open. We complained and after arguments amongst the staff it opened. Not sure the beach towels were ever washed they were chucked into a wooden hut each night, my friends actually caught a member of staff sniffing them. One evening the whole hotel was closed for a private party, guests were not informed, restaurant, bar and outside seating closed to guests. Breakfast was nice although basic with no changes in 10 days! Breakfast staff were much friendlier. Rooms were nice and cleaned daily. We did complain to our Jet2 rep who told us lots of guests had made complaints and she thinks the hotel will be downgraded in 2025.
