Convenient, but only when hotels farther south on Rt 146 are booked. Pretty good prices, but you get what you pay for to some extent. I was there during in early July, close to the holiday. Staffing during the day was thin or non-existent. I was driving through; and wanted to just check in a bit early (early afternoon), since my final destination was still about 40-50 miles away; and I'd be returning late. I finally found someone supposedly in charge, but cleaning a room - name was ”Cat” or ”Kat”, with an eastern-European or Russian accent. Told her I did not need to get into the room; but wanted to just quickly check in and get a key. She refused; and was somewhat rude about it. She suggested that I cancel my reservation! What the heck? I realize they may have been short-staffed and busy; but this person should not be in the hospitality business. And btw, I saw other guests the next morning also looking hopelessly for staff, as the hotel desk was simply empty and sort of abandoned. Now; during another visit, the night manager - probably part of the ownership - was nice to me and worked to find me a room when they were very tight. I did appreciate that. Also, the non-smoking room did appear to be fairly clean. So, it's a hit-and-miss place.
