There are some very polite staff, but the place just feels like a rip off. It’s one thing to have high prices and it’s a completely different thing to just rip people off. We reserved an ocean view room. There was absolutely no way in the world to see the ocean from in our room. They did correct it after we tried to nicely complain but we had a number of experiences like this. We were charged about $150 for items in their convenience fridge that we did not take out at all. The yoga instructor never showed up at all for beach yoga. No apology or acknowledgment from the staff after a couple nice staff members asked us about it. More class than Miami Beach anyway, which means almost none.

Loved the Four seasons surf club in North Miami. It was nestled in between Four Seasons high rise residences. Excellent customer service and each Four Season property is consistent. Champagne upon arrival and private tour of the hotel. Champagne bar was designed with green and tropical decor. Stunning architecture! Walk access to the beach with private cabana and food and drink service. 2 pools and Thomas Keller restaurant onsite - Surf Club. The room had floor to ceiling windows. Touches of brass decor everywhere you turn in the hotel. Gift shop onsite, gym and spa. Absolutely love this beachside property.

There is a lot to love about this hotel. It is really beautiful, and the rooms are huge and super clean. However, even though the service was good, it wasn’t great. Since I was expecting great, I was disappointed. We have been spoiled, I guess, by the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, where the service is so good we gladly spend extra money there and enjoy doing it. At the Four Seasons Surfside we felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth. It was extremely expensive but did not deliver the joy that other, even less expensive hotels deliver. We have had better, more joyous experiences at Disney hotels at a third of the price. I’m not saying that we had a bad time because we didn’t. We had a really lovely time. All I’m saying is that the hotel did not meet our expectations and we probably would try a different hotel next time.

Beautiful property and very nice staff, but overpriced for the experience during off season. Some rooms don't have balconies (my fault for not understanding this at booking) and upgrades are expensive--even during off season and a hurricane, when the hotel seemed empty? There's limited dining on the property. Spa was nice (also overpriced) but construction outside was a bit odd w/ people working right outside the lounge windows where you sit.

Four seasons just excels at making you feel special. We were here over July 4th weekend to get away. We had a corner room with a view of both the bay and the ocean and it was spectacular. The balcony was huge and the shades pulled back with one press of a button. The breakfast was amazing. I had the best French toast I've ever had and this being vacation, I had it two days in a row. The pool areas were large. The beach was clean and chairs were plentiful. We didn't love the Surfside restaurant, but apparently they are only physically on the grounds and an operate entity, but hotel management addressed this anyway. Thats what I love about this brand. They make you feel like they care.
