Bravo Village Apartments

Worst family holiday experience. We traveled as a family of 6. Our room wasn’t ready at 4am and was put in one with not enough sleeping space but we just got on with it. We were moved the next afternoon and the apartment was fine to be honest even with 3 flights of stairs. The cleaning of the apartments is good. There is no bar or food it’s been closed since covid, that is shown on many travel agents websites. The pool and playgrounds need updating lots of rubble, broken tiles ect. Our stay for the first 9 days was ok, the location is good, didn’t have a problem really until 3am one night. Someone tried breaking into our apartment by kicking the door in. But even more strange when we tried to turn the light on to see what was happening, as myself and husband was on the sofa bed, all our electric had been tripped! Luckily my husband pushed to sofa against the door and no one got in. You could hear men outside the door saying something in Bulgarian but couldn’t gather what and we just stayed quiet. The next morning when we told the old hotel manager, he refused to call the police and tbh did not seem surprised? He actually said don’t worry I won’t charge you for the damage! He wouldn’t move us and from that point, the cleaning lady who happened to be there too said you can’t leave them here after this. She was quickly shushed. We didn’t feel safe with small children and luckily only had two nights left. After a look around it came apparent the gold stickers on the doors hide the wholes where the rooms have been broken into. See my pictures. Only our apartment had been attempted that night and tree levels up was clearly targeted. We had two very young children with us so could be why? Not safe for young families. After speaking to people about this it happens often hear and the hotel name keeps getting changed? I would never go back to this hotel and wouldn’t recommend anyone with small children.

My personal opinion.( Bravo 1 ) The whole apartment complex of 4 or 5 block's are different in design & a mish mash in appearance, what i would call typical eastern European & for that market. A lot appear to be privately owned. They are 3&4 floors hight with no lifts even ground floor rooms have a few steps. No reception just a man in a hut next to the the gate who speaks next to no English. Large pool with kids section , plenty of loungers, no parasols, pool bar closed, a bit of a run down kids play area. Our 1 bed ground floor apt was ok as was our sons, friendly cleaners "only knew Hello", bed linen changed once a wk, towels every other day. I think if you had a problem it might of been difficult to get it sorted as you feel very much on your own. Apart from the first couple of days we/our extended family were the only English people, but saying that through out the fortnight only at most half a dozen local family's/couples were staying there. Yes we had a good time but doubt we would stop there again, just not our cup of tea so to say.

Lovely place. An excellent break was had by all. The swimming pools do not open until Nune. Your class of apartment depends who you rent from. Grounds and arras are immaculately clean. Only a ten minute walk to the beach.

After reading previous reviews, I must admit we weren't expecting much and when the bus dropped us off, we weren't expecting much. The property doesn't have great curb appeal. However, we were greeted quickly and shown to our apartment. We were pleasantly surprised, it was large and clean. Had everything we needed and a little shop just over the road for essentials (like coffee and milk!). We had a two bedroom apartment which was cleaned daily, had a kettle, large fridge, flat screen TV, good wet room, everything you could need for a base. It was well located for town, bars and restaurants and had a lovely pool, which again was cleaned daily. The only reason this property has dropped a star is due to the poolside bar not operating. This meant no snacks or drinks available (unless you brought your own) and no toilet facilities (we just buzzed up to our room to use the loo). If the bar had been open and operating it would have been a solid 5 stars for value. Don't get me wrong, it's not a luxury 5 star property, but for what you pay, it's definitely value for money.
