飯店入口營造出令人驚豔的五星級氛圍，但客房真的需要翻新。地毯陳舊，散發著潮濕的氣味。不過，前台工作人員非常棒。夜班經理康福特和吉婭非常熱心地幫我安排了一間乾淨的房間，儘管這讓我們看起來像是晚上十點在卡斯卡德街頭的流浪漢。我們不得不換了三次房間，這對五星級飯店來說絕對不應該發生。客房服務人員應該將損壞情況回報給維修部門，這樣我們這些客人就不用經歷這些問題了。

說實話，這家酒店相當破舊，配不上它的星級，但我們住得還算愉快，而且地理位置優越，去哪兒都很方便，所以評分還算不錯。我們被安排在一個寬敞漂亮的房間，有一個大露台，但是房間裝修非常老舊，浴室也不大，不夠現代化。這麼漂亮的飯店卻這樣，真是可惜；翻新一下一定比帆船飯店好很多。

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while an alternative to spending the $$ on the palace, I wish I had spent the extra $ on the Palace of the Lost City. The best thing about this hotel is the pool. The rooms were average not upgraded for 40+ years by the look of it. They provided a hairdryer, which was fixed inside the drawer by the bed; however, there was no mirror anywhere near the hairdryer! very odd! The service was ho-hum. Some days are good, some days not. it was very busy being a public holiday when we arrived. ask for a floor up high as the views are great. We unfortunately had a ground floor room no light no view. I wouldn't recommend it , however, there is not much to choose from. definitely don't stay for more than 2 nights.

We are a family from Australia who spent 2 nights at Sun City in July 2015. Picked Cascades as it seemed central to all the action, and it was. Loved our time there. I didn’t have the highest expectations so that probably helped! But we absolutely loved it all! Though initially disappointing our kids had to share a sleeper couch in family room when I booked via ******* for queen plus 2 singles, it was fine. Room was acceptable with no issues. Loved walking around the gardens, valley of waves (too cold to swim but kids braved the slides), the Palace, the maze, the chimpandzee, safari trek etc - thought the whole place was fabulous. Buffet breakfast at Cascades was great (even with visits from monkeys. Mexican eatery was really good but the Greek restaurant at Cascades was absolutely awful - food was appalling. The only negative. Otherwise, we loved our time here!

family friendly. Everything you need under one roof. Food items is costly and no halaal meat nearby. Would advise to take your own meat. Shuttles run 24/7 with a 5 min wait. Great facilities! Waffles need to be improved. Service at the hotels and vacation club is 9/10. Make sure you tip

2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (10 und 14 Jahre alt). Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alle Angestellten dort waren freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer lächelnd. Das Hotel, speziell die Zimmer sind schon etwas 'älter', aber in einem tadellosen Zustand, alles hat gut funktioniert und war sehr sauber. Frühstück war reichhaltig, schön präsentiert, auch dort alles sauber. Frühstück gab es bis 11 Uhr. Beim Cascades Hotel wäre einzig die Sauberkeit des Wassers im Hotelpool zu bemängeln. Wir waren nur am ersten Tag dort, während wir aufs Einchecken und unser Zimmer warten mussten. Die folgenden Tage waren wir immer im 'Valley of the Waves' - kostenlos für Hotelgäste. Künstliche Welle, viele Rutschen, Hochseilgarten mit Zip-Lining, viele Möglichkeiten zum Essen & Trinken. Zum Abendessen waren wir zweimal beim 'Griechen' am Hotelpool und mehrere Male im angrenzenden 'Sun City Hotel' - Steakhouse (fantastisches Filet & Weine), chinesisch/asiatisches Restaurant und indisches Restaurant. Qualität sehr gut und auf jeden Fall preiswert. Wir haben auch zweimal den Gamedrive/Safari des externen Anbieters in Anspruch genommen. Buchung und Abholung im Hotel und dann gehts direkt in den Pilanesberg Nationalpark. 55 Hektar. Big Five. Auch dort alle sehr freundlich und engagiert.

I loved most things about the Cascades Hotel and Sun City. The hotel is a little dated but this is made up for by the facilities and ease of getting around the hotel and complex in general
