Excellent location with a great restaurant. Spa is something else with great views of the Tatras, with just a short walk to the ski lifts and bars. The service was exceptional especially Eva who was the best! Eva helped with our choices and was great to talk too. Highly recommended when you’re looking for a 5 star hotel in a picturesque part of the world.

Me and my daughter stoped only for a coffee and some snack in their lobby bar. The amenities are lovely, atmosphere nice, lobby bar is cozy and welcoming. The coffee and hot milk chocolate we ordered were very good. BUT. The service was incredibly SLOW! We were siting at the bar 15 min when finally somebody noticed we were there and brought the drink- menu. Then we waited another 10 min when finally another waiter came to take our order. Yes (!) and it took another 15 min when he finally brought my coffee and another 5 min to bring a hot chocolate for my daughter. Yes - they brought it separately! Would you believe this in a hotel like this where you pay for macciato 6 Eur? Then I decided that I wanted to order some snack. Took another 10 min while they brought me the menu list. The lobby bar was not even half full. Should I continue? I don’ t think so. The waiters were nice and polite, excused for slow service and then speeded -up, but still…. This was not 5- star experience.

It was our first visit in this hotel but for sure not the last! The room was large with lot of amenities. Staff is very welcoming and friendly, they will help you with everything you need and even more. Breakfast was great with variety of food. Overall experience in this hotel is really 5*.

The location of this hotel is spectacular. We stayed in a junior suite in the original part of the house that was built here and enjoyed every minute of our visit. Rain, sun and fog couldn’t stop us from seeing the stunning scenery. We also took advantage of the spa and had massages which we welcomed after hiking earlier in the day. The bar had entertainment and delicious teas, the dining room provided a vast menu and the accommodations are comfortable. The front desk was so welcoming and helpful when we needed it. We will do what we can to go back to the High Tatar’s and stay at the Kempinski.

This the best spot to stay in High Tatras. No other Hotel in the area comes any close to the Kempinski Hotel. The location is just breathtaking, the building according to my children is the most beautiful palace they've ever seen. The cream on the top is the team of the Hotel with their exceptional service and special care they look after their guests. It was our best 3 nights staying in a Hotel thanks to Kempinski.
