We stayed at ARIERES MARMONT with my partner in the tiny houses nestled in nature… and as you can see from the photos, we were truly surrounded by nature. It was an amazing experience that we’d definitely like to repeat. Next time, we’ll bring our family along. The place is equipped with running water and electricity, which is great—it’s like being in a hotel but with complete privacy. Access to the wellness center and excellent food were added bonuses. Although the weather wasn’t in our favor this time, we’ll definitely come back when there’s snow. It must look like something out of a fairytale. :)

Magnificent place to stay. Super new and spacious apartments. Modern and cozy style. All the facilities in super conditions. If I were staying one more time I would love to have some activities available in the area, at least some bikes rent, as the ones we’ve been advised were unreasonable unaffordable. All the rest is just perfect. We then moved higher to Strbske Pleso, and the hotels are level down regarding their saunas, accommodation and meals.

Arietes Marmont Resort in Slovakia is a hidden gem that exceeded all expectations. From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly service throughout my stay, the staff truly made me feel at home. The unexpected welcome Prosecco drink and small cookie on my pillow were delightful touches that added to the charm. The culinary experience was exceptional, with each meal a showcase of Slovakian cuisine with a modern twist. The wellness facilities were a highlight, offering a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration. The spa was a sanctuary of tranquility, and the treatments were rejuvenating. Overall, Arietes Marmont Resort offers a perfect blend of great food, wellness, and attentive staff. Whether for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, this resort is a must-visit. Overall price/value ratio is not good. Positive points: - The apartments were spacious and mostly comfortable - The hotel is well located to easily access the main highlights of High Tatras. - The food quality was quite nice. - The spa area was great but can get crowded at peak hours. - The kids room is well done and fun for babies/kids Areas for improvement: Overall many details were standing out that made the place much less attractive and professional. I am surprised the hotel is so well rated online. - We were promised a room with a balcony that has a view on relaxing nature, but instead got a view on a noisy construction site for a unit they are building. As compensation we got a cheap bottle of prosecco...! - The water pump broke down for a whole afternoon due to a mistake by the construction company. Guests were not informed immediately and when informed signes were only in Slovakian - This brings me to the point of language. Very few actually speak English and almost nothing is written in English (Signs, Food menu, etc.). As a tourist in Slovakia this hotel expects everyone to learn Slovakian... This makes international tourists feel very unwanted and makes the hotel come across as lazy and unprofessional. - Other small details but nevertheless cumbersome would pop up making the hotel feel cheap: The elevator did not work for a whole day (no communication), doors would not open properly or get stuck, the bed mattress makes noise when you lay on it, staff don't seem very friendly and motivated, chairs at the spa near the pool are uncomfortable, food is served as a buffet and not nicely presented along with a wine selection that is not great. I could probably go on but overall the hotel although comfortable was quite a disappointment and completely under our expectations for the price.

We stayed in april 2022 in an big apartment. Everything is new, very clean. I would definetly recommend this for a family with kids. A fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathroom, a nice terrace and big screen TV will delight you. Hotel staff is very friendly. They have 2 pools ( one for kids the other ine only 1.3 m deep), 3 saunas, a kids play room and outside amenities for children. You are 15 min by car from Strbske Pleso, supermarket ( Lidl ) is about 10 min by car and Poprad 20 min away which has many sports gear shops, malls, supermarket. You won t find restaurants in the nearby, the hotel offers a 19 euro buffet lunch. I would recommend shopping for groceries. The only downside would be breakfast which is really poor for a 4 star hotel, not many vegetarian options but if you are a keen meat eater it will be ok.
