愛丁頓公園飯店(Ettington Park Hotel, Stratford-Upon-Avon)

Went for spa day and high tea with my mother. The building is full of history and granduer. Spa is small but very relaxing with the sun roof over the pool. We had the deluxe facial and cannot praise Natasha the therapist enough. High tea was exceptional scones were made a you wait so came out fresh and hot All staff from reception to waiting staff were friendly helpful and made you feel so welcome. No rushing relaxed pace. The grounds are vast well kept and beautiful. Only recommendation is that if you are elderly ask at reception to use the courtyard access to the pool. Like all old buildings it has lots of steep stairs and spiral ones!

My friend and I recently stayed 3 nights at Ettington Park. We’ve wanted to try it for a while so this was our first visit. We had a Twin Room (no 33, Exec room). We found all the staff very amenable and helpful. Special mention of Damon who kindly showed us around the hotel. Joe? (Bartender) makes the best cocktails. Really good. 😊 We didn’t have Dinner in the main restaurant but did eat in the Bar on the Sunday evening when we arrived. Food was lovely but could do with a few more veggie options. I had the hummus mezze platter as I didn’t fancy a veggie burger. Unfortunately, as my friend didn’t want to share the platter which was meant for 2, there was quite a bit of waste which would be good to be able to avoid. There was a good selection at Breakfast for both the Buffet and hot food to order. Room was spacious and very clean. Lovely gunmetal chandelier which I did have a look at as, normally, light fittings are a dust trap but it was spotless and shiny. Even skirting boards were devoid of dust which is quite rare in a lot of hotels, never mind one as old as this one, so I was very impressed with the standard of housekeeping. A couple of constructive points for the room: there’s a lovely gilt square mirror above fireplace but there seems to be several sections missing from it, exposing bare wood, although one section appeared to have been painted in (gold). It would be nice to restore the mirror if possible. Also, window/sill/seat could do with some filling and a lick of paint. I’m not a Pool/Spa user but my friend is. She used the facilities and also booked a back massage. She was very happy with pool and facilities generally. Her back massage appoin**ent was with Tash and my friend said the bed was ultra relaxing and the massage eased the knots in her back so she was very pleased. We would definitely like to visit Ettington Park again in the future. :)

This hotel is superb - the setting is beautiful and the building itself is magnificent. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. There is a wonderful spa and pool. The staff are exceptional. They are able to balance friendliness and openness with a very high degree of efficiency and professionalism. The duty manager Pedro had to deal with a minor issue when we arrived and was able to resolve it in an instant much to our satisfaction. A fabulous stay -

We went to the New Years Eve dinner dance and had a wonderful time. Without exception the staff were welcoming and friendly. We had champagne and canapés before sitting down to a superb 4 course dinner then dancing till 1 am . Our room was huge ,overlooking the grounds at the front and the bed was very comfy. Lovely breakfast the following morning. What more do you want ?

This is a gorgeous hotel, ideally situated on 40 verdant acres near Stratford-upon-Avon. The staff could not have been more accommodating, the food was excellent, and the room—though a bit dated (it is an old building) was comfortable and charming. We stayed in the Shirley Suite, one of the hotel’s larger rooms. We had a nice view from the front of the hotel. The bathroom was a bit cramped, with little shelf space, but the rest of the room was large enough to allow us to adapt. My only criticism was that the bed could have been a bit more comfortable. The mattress was a bit lumpy. Obviously, this is a minor issue, but when one is jet-lagged, sleep is a major concern! The staff were all unfailingly pleasant. There were a few special and unusual requests we made which were all honored without any hullabaloo. This is a nice location for anyone exploring Stratford and the Cotswolds. I would recommend it without reservation.

Beautiful setting and stunning building with plenty of character. The decor was suited to the period of the building. The staff were excellent and always attentive. We attended a gathering for a friends birthday and whilst the whole event was really very enjoyable, the food was a little below par and dissappointing.

Fabulous hotel had a feature room, unfortunately my husband was ill, the staff could not have been more helpful and lovely The Restaurant Manager All of the Receptionists Dinner was not the best in the Restaurant but the Breakfast was lovely Thank you Liz and John Rowley

Magnificent property, straight out of a fairy tale! Beautiful landscape! Top notch rooms and amenities! Amazing staff! Excellent dining, try the Plant based burger, the best I've ever had! Excellent breakfast! Will definitely return.
