埃文公園之屋飯店

Will keep this brief as we’re about to check out of our one night stay at this property before exploring Shakespeare’s hood. Our stay here was brief but brilliant. A large family room with comfortable beds, quality furnishings, shiny new bathroom, & huge flat screen TV. We were warmly welcomed on arrival last night & shown how to walk into town via the pathway along the river with some recommendations for dinner. Breakfast really topped our stay. A fresh continental selection to start things off followed by a huge cooked breakfast. All meals were delivered by name as ordered the hight before. It was awesome. You can’t go wrong with Avonpark.

Came to Stratford upon Avon for the weekend and stayed at Avonpark House. The owners were very friendly and approachable. It is based in an ideal location, it's only a 5-10 minutes walk from the river, waterside, Royal Shakespeare company theatre, eateries and shops. There is parking for one car per room, in front of the house. The room was very clean and spacious, equipped with everything that we needed, including a fridge. There are plenty of options for breakfast, hot options including, full English, omelettes and Kippers, alongside cereal, yogurts, dried and fresh fruit. Egg Benedict was on the bedroom menu, but not an option on the breakfast menu, you need to fill out.

Incorrect pictures on website and misleading, garden in particular is appalling overgrown long grass very shabby indeed, broken down gazebo. Arrived mid day 15th November meet by Maria the host very nice that was the last time we saw her, showed us to no 5 ground floor room, first impression very nice on further inspection a few things need to be addressed, curtain track rusty, towel rack a bit of rust on it,shower head needs to be bleached as quite a few holes were clogged up with limescale, and as usual the shower tray as usual mastic just rubbed round as it has been renewed at some time but please do it right especially as the shower cubicle was lovely. Breakfast very nice only saw Martin 2 times serving breakfast no dialects no conversation nowt. Final thing car park could do with a very good sweep as to a lot of loose grit, small things I know but easy to rectify .
