A lovely rural oasis with 36 acres of indigenous forest (in an area that has been thoroughly cleared). Beautiful gardens with animal sculptures. We just passed through on a rainy day but loved chilling there. Owners are super nice. Highly recommend

Very relaxing accommodation set in a garden of mixed and native flowers, trees and shribs. What is unique is the range and diversity of sculptures of Afirican Wildlife, most life size as well. The rooms were reaxing as there was space to spread out in and enjoy. Although we had a lot of rain we could still pop out to the gardens in between showers to enjoy.

Very nice place. The 34 acres of garden tended with love. Glad I went early and had time to wander around. Hospitable owners - Les and Amanda! Will be my first choice in the area, if / when I come back here

What a great stay! This place is a labor of love for the owners. They are friendly, and a pleasure to chat with. And they are part of what makes this place so special. Not only do you get to stay at a very inviting place but you also have a sculpture garden to explore on the premises. Rooms were very clean, and well equipped. The b&b is only about 10-15 mins from town.

Absolutely lovely hosts. Amanda and Les are so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful gardens to explore. Lovely confortable bed.
I would happily stay again. I really enjoyed the hiking around Taranaki and do intend to return. I wanted a quiet solo trip and Te Popo Gardens did not dissapoint.
