Outstanding Excellent resort to kick back and enjoy a stress free experience. So much nicer than the overcrowded uber commercialized big resort down the highway. You feel like you are in Austria with the beautiful views and old school and old world architecture and amenities. Staff is super nice and helpful. Great food and room is huge with perfect temperature control. Tours on the property are amazing. We had tons of snow which made the trip even better. They even clean off your car! Highly recommended!!

This is such a wonderful experience. What a beautiful and unique hotel. The staff were absolutely welcoming and helpful. They had an Easter egg hunt for the kids that was a well thought out and planned event. The dinning was superb.

I was very disappointed with our stay. The room is so old and not well kept at all, furniture are dirty with stains, almost no electricity sockets and the worst was the sofa bed. It was so bad , it literally broke me and my son's back, we slept in an metal pole and the mattress was so old and broken. It was a disaster of a night. I asked to fix it and instead I got an inflatable mattress. I was paying 800$ a night for an inflatable mattress!!! That is just ridiculous. After talking to the front desk four times!!!!! we finally changed the room to another old room. TV was not working, we asked assistance for five times during two days, and nothing, absolutely no response. I don't mind the TV but this is no way to treat guests paying so much money. The resort is great and beautiful and has many nice things we enjoyed but having this experience just felt bad.

As a fan of The Sound of Music this was always a place I wanted to visit and believe me, it did not disappoint! The grounds were beautiful. There was plenty to do, you really did not have to leave the property! Room was huge, clean and had a balcony overlooking the property. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious! Our waiter, Brian, was wonderful! Can’t wait to go back!

Wish we had more time here. The Front Desk and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Beautiful property, good food, and the tours we were able to take were excellent. One night is definitely not enough.
