This lodge is a amazing place for a family vacation. Our family loved.

The property is beautiful, the location great, and we visit Skamania Lodge often. We had a great time in our last visit, but were a bit disappointed by a few cost-cutting/revenue-enhancing measures that we noticed, compared to our prior visit (about a year ago): guests are now charged for parking ($15); the avocado toast we usually have for breakfast is smaller and has less avocado; there was a table with bagels and lox; and we have the impression that the coffee station now closes earlier. None of this is a big deal, and we understand that costs in general have been increasing, but at the same time hope that the measures will stop at that.

This is an absolutely beautiful property! All of the staff that we came into contact were extremely nice and helpful. We ate at Cascade, and the food was delicious, and service was also wonderful! Our room was extremely quiet! We were concerned at first because our room was right as you came off the elevator. The only complaint we had about our room was the bed. They aren't comfortable and only a double, if you're an adult, you and your partner can't help but disrupt the other if you move. They are also hard, as are the pillows. The beds with the slightest movement, it sounds like plastic being crumbled. Anytime anyone moved during the night, the noise woke us up. The only other complaint was the amount of unsupervised small children 3-10 just running around. A child probably 5, came into the elevator as we entered, no adults in sight. This same child we later saw walking around with their shirt half off at 9:30pm. Around 10, someone reported to the front desk this child was in the parking lot just walking alone. In the common area, there were several children 5-8 playing on and around the fireplace. We couldn't sit down because of them. One of the children kept touching the latern decorations and almost knocked it off the stoop a few times. The parents were there, they just weren't paying attention. Going back up to our room, there was a group of about 8 kids 3-10ish running through the halls. They had been going on the elevator to all levels doing this.

It was a great experience! My only suggestion is that the property limit dogs to one floor. We were on the third floor and there were a couple of dogs who barked occasionally. Only other suggestion is limit the hot tubs to adults for a longer period of time. It is a lovely setting!

great, staff, very clean rooms, nice facilities. If it's not raining, see their Christmas lights- you can walk through them! Drinks are a little overpriced compared to other lodges in the NW, but very good!

Despite me having to come there by myself, because my husband got sick and not being able to get a refund If I didn't show up it was nice and relaxing.. The food is highly expensive for what you get.. i wish there was a couple different options that Were more affordable..wer a

Comfortable beds and pillows, lots for kids to do, very clean and friendly staff. Free coco and coffee was a treat. Loved the decorative lodge for Christmas time.

Welcoming hospitality from all staff - registration, dining and server staff, housekeeping. We felt part of an extended family group while enjoying theThanksgiving holiday.

The room was very clean and ready before our check in time. The staff was very kind and professional.
