Was always an avid Spier repeat client, 18 visits in total. Sadly Spier failed.to deliver this visit. For a number of reasons, but to keep it brief, room absolutely filthy dirty. Could not walk on floor without feet becoming really dirty. Menu choices so limited and only 2 restaurants on the property. So be warned, either have to eat what's on their limited menues or ensure you have a car and make reservations elsewhere, ahead of time. December being such a busy time, battled to get dinner reservations and had to resort on either going hungry or eat unhealthy take outs. Neither choice suitable for my diabetic son. Where they really dropped the ball was when trying to bring this and other issues to senior management, received a pretty generic reply and never had the courtesy of a call being returned, despite numerous messages. Seems customer care not superbly high on management's list. On positive side, breakfast staff outstanding, seems sad that Snr management dropped the ball, when more junior staff trying to go back and beyond. Segway and Spa excellent, but can use those facilities even if not a hotel guest.
